This was an incredible school with an understanding of how to connect with its community. Now, it has become a micro-management nightmare. It seems that only those with power can make the "right decisions" for students, families and the community. They didn't even let the community vote on a levy but instead, the school board "passed" a levy based not on their on decisions but based on what the superintendent tells them to do. The high school principal follows foot-step with the superintendent. Decisions are only good decisions when it is made by those in power at this school. If you are trying to avoid this type of environment, a mightier than thou, then I would suggest you look at another school to attend or to work at OR to pay taxes to.
