Just moved to the area and needed to find a new chippy, job done! Nice light batter, tasty chips and nice curry sauce with a bit of zing. Danny came over to chat, the rest of the crew were all really friendly. Worth a try if you haven't been yet.Food: 5/5
I travelled from Streatham in order to explore the village of Old Coulsdon which I have driven though many times.I came across Danny’s Fish and Chip shop by chance and decided to see what it was like.Danny greeted me when I arrived and was most pleasant.I must say that the fish and chips was some of the finest that I have ever tasted and at a very reasonable price and a large portion. If I am ever in the area again I shall pop in again.I can highly recommend this place,
Consistently good quality fish and chips here. My kids love this place. Portion size is reasonable. There is a good selection of menu items. Expect a long wait on Friday evenings as they’re usually queuing out the door. Card payments accepted here.

Forget Harry Ramsdens, forget The Sea Shell in Lisson Grove Marylebone London NW8, forget all the rest of them who boast, that their fish and chips are the best. Get yourself to Danny's in Old Coulsdon, then you'll find out what you've been missing. I've never tasted batter like it before I discovered Danny's. And I've been to some of the best fish and chip shops around. The batter is not only scrumptious but, nice and crispy. The chips are to die for and leave you wanting more. Also taste the cod roe, Danny's roe with his batter, its out of this world. The portions are very generous too. So get yourself to Danny's Old Coulsdon. You won't be sorry. So Harry Ramsden, Sea Shell Lisson Grove, eat your heart out. Danny's is the BEST

Just had my burger there & it was delicious. Huge thanks to Danny and his son, great place, friendly, warm welcoming, tried my 1st batted mars bar. Now I want more defo will come back to this place.
One of the best traditional style fish & chips in the UK! Danny’s is fast, friendly and extremely tasty. The menu is excellent, with a range that includes not only a few types of fish, but burgers, kids meals and even gluten free! The kitchen is spotlessly clean, as is the the eating area there are 3/4 tables for customers. The staff are extremely friendly and quick to prepare the order - they work like a team and it really shows! Despite ordering at a very busy time 7PM Friday night, food is turned around in less than 10 mins. All in all, if you’re in the area and looking for some fish & chips - this is the place to get them.
Fantastic fish and chips. By far the best in the area. The queue out of the door tells it's own story !!
