Best meat, cheese as well as vegetarian sandwiches in Cape Breton. Great breakfasts. Very nice place in Margaree valley. Good place to stop and have breakfast or lunch or an early supper. Desserts are intoxicating. Soups are excellent. Close to Cabot Trail on North West coast of Cape Breton.

After a long stretch of driving and no caffeine in sight, there was nothing more exciting than stumbling across the Dancing Goat. It was near impossible to find somewhere to park because it was so packed, so that was a sure sign it would be good! I didn't realize just HOW good though! There's so many delicious food and drink options, and the fresh baked bread smelled so delicious so I HAD to try a sandwich. I customized mine to be vegan and ordered a Black Forest ham sandwich for my SO. It was actually the best sandwich ever, for him and me. The coffee was amazing and the food was incredible! The woman at the counter was extremely friendly and helped me find a great vegan option. Can't recommend it enough!!

Had both breakfast and lunch while travelling the area. If you are going for breakfast try the Best Breakfast Sandwich Ever! Sausage or Bacon... The coffee drinks are handcrafted and delicious as well. If there is space, try eating on the porch ... conversing with locals or "Come From Aways". Go before noon so you can have the breakfast sandwich with their delicious soup!

Best food around! In house made baked goods. Went several days in a row. Sad I don't live near the dancing goat so I could have it all the time.
