I contacted Dan after arriving in Canada when I found that I would be working in BC. I knew nothing about the styles of housing, or about buying a home. Dan was slow, careful, and patient in explaining every detail of how to proceed. He took the time to meet with me as much as I needed, and even found someone to help explain everything to me in my native Russian language, so he was certain that I understood. We looked at many homes and townhomes before deciding what would be best for my family. We got the right property in the correct location that I needed. When I first started to look for a home I wanted a realtor that would help me along the way and not be pushy. I found that person in Dan Millar. He was always available to answer any of my questions and was open to providing my husband and I information so that we could make an informed decision. Dan made the process as stress-free as possible and offered solid advice when we asked. I would happily recommend Dan to all my friends and colleagues when purchasing or buying. We found Dan’s website in December of 2012. At the time I just wanted to out the value of my property. However, Dan stayed in touch with emails and phone calls for one and a half years. There was no pressure, he simply supplied us with constant good information. We found a private buyer for our house and finally decided to sell. Dan helped us in the purchase process by sending continuous information on neighborhoods and home styles to choose from. The website searches were really helpful. He was *very* patient with us and we viewed many properties, finally deciding on a townhome back in our original neighborhood. During our search, Dan's observations and advice were invaluable, and he got to know our needs and desires very well. I contacted Dan through his website in September about listing my home for sale. I’d lived in my home over 30 years and I felt that I needed a lot of time to get ready for this big move. Dan started sending me properties to review in January, and when I was prepared we started viewing homes in March. I found 4 right away that would work for me. So I listed my home; everything went smooth, with no rush, and no pressure. I got an accepted offer on my house quickly and wrote an offer on one townhome I liked. Dan was very professional and prepared me for every part of the process like clockwork. As stressed as I was, Dan just took me one step at a time.
