Fantastic culinary experience! Our server Nick was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful with explaining the menu. He also had great advice for the cocktails. Everything we ordered were absolutely delicious and flavourful!

An unforgettable culinary journey! Dining at Damas was like being transported to the heart of Syria. Every dish was bursting with exotic spices, vibrant flavors, and stunning presentation. The atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, and the service was outstanding—from the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to help us lift our stroller into the restaurant. A truly thoughtful touch that set the tone for an amazing evening. One of Montreal’s finest dining experiences—an absolute must-visit!

This restaurant is overpriced and overrated.nnWe ordered the tasting menu and, while the food wasn’t bad, it was underwhelming. The fattoush was far too lemony, and the wine pairing added very little to the overall experience. We were given more detailed explanations about the wines than the food, and by the end, I honestly felt like I drank more than I ate.nnThey also served some extremely bitter olives, which I personally didn’t enjoy at all.nnThe place was so crowded and loud that I had to practically shout just to talk to my partner. It didn’t feel romantic at all, and that really took away from the experience. At times, it felt like the person at the next table was about to pull up a chair and join our conversation.nnWe paid $770.00 for the evening, and for that kind of price, you expect a well-rounded experience: well-executed food, wine that truly complements the meal, a pleasant atmosphere, and attentive service. It’s about balance.nnIn short: not worth it. The experience fell well below expectations.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Damas truly lives up to its reputation as one of the top restaurants in the city. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting—elegant without being pretentious. The service was attentive and thoughtful, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout the meal.nnThe food? Exceptional. The variety and freshness of the dips, the perfectly grilled octopus, the tender and flavorful shish taouk chicken—all served with warm, fluffy pitas that we couldn’t get enough of. Every bite was rich with bold, balanced flavors that spoke to the quality and authenticity of the cuisine.nnIt’s no surprise this place is so highly rated. I’m beyond impressed and would recommend Damas to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience.

Everything is top notch. Service was extremely attentive. Food was incredible and flavorful, made with clean and delicious ingredients. I went here based on a recommendation and am very impressed and this is o e of the best middle eastern restaurants in North America. I ordered the course menu for $125 and loved it. Everything was perfect and Gabriel was a huge help.
