Would give them zero stars if I could. Gave me a window of 8am-9am for my job. Said he would not be later than 9am. Ended up not showing up at all. Then they had the nerve to call me at noon and say, "We have a technician ready to head your way now." Well, I don't have time now. We agreed on 8am-9am. I made sure I was available to you for my window; I would appreciate the same courtesy. Very unprofessional and disrespectful of my time.

This is my first review on google and unfortunately it takes a bad review to understand how important it is to post a good review. Majority of the reviews that Dalton has received are accurate. I don't doubt that the 5 star reviews aren't worthy. It's just unfortunate that there's inconsistency with the different services that Dalton offers. I don't want to bad mouth the employees that work there because they have been nothing but kind. Some are far more knowledgeable than others such as John McGhee. John was wonderful to work with and he knew what he was doing. I would suspect that John will either be on his own or find a more reputable company to work for sooner than later. My issues aren't with the work that was done. I feel confident that the problems were addressed and resolved. My issues lie with the lack of communication, the delinquency and leadership, specifically with Brock (owner's son). After speaking with other trusted local plumbers, it was evident we could have made a better decision on who to go with for our plumbing issues. Dalton may not be the worst decision but it's most likely not the best decision.

Scott is knowledgeable, meticulous, and professional. After a mixup in scheduling a technician with the appropriate experience and knowledge, I received a followup/apology call from Dalton management and Scott was sent to complete the work originally requested. He did a very thorough inspection of both furnaces and revived one of the gas fireplaces to like-new performance. He is seeking a replacement remote option for me and I have every confidence he will follow through as promised and find a viable selection with regard to my preferences. I would definitely recommend Scott for any furnace or fireplace work.

Recently, I call Daltons with a furnace problem. They responded quickly and actually arriving earlier than they scheduled. When I met them (Josh, Justin and Steve) at the door they were very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in hearing about or problem/issues with the furnace. They immediately went into diagnosing the problem with the furnace and appeared very knowledgeable about following a process to find the issue. After a lengthy diagnoses process they were able to pin-point the problem which turned out to be an issue related to the venting system. The problem was due to an area of the venting system which had been in-correctly re-installed by the roofing company which had just replaced our shingles. While working they wore shoe covers and clean up the work area before they left. The total cost was very reasonable even with the lengthy amount of time diagnosing the issue. Overall they did a very professional job. I would highly recommend.

I was impressed from sale to completion. First of all, there was no pressure or upsale. I explained what I needed and Paul told me how much it would cost. It was within my budget, so I agreed. They were able to come the next day, and frankly, worked their asses off. Our basement was cobwebby etc, and I was planning on cleaning before they got here but ran out of time. They were 100% professional. My tech was Steve and he and the rest of the guys were kind and courteous and I could not be happier with my the whole experience. They explained my new thermostat, my filter, went over everything and seriously went the extra mile. I cannot recommend them enough.
