The cda has treated me where they are discriminating against me because I have developmental disabilities where I need and require certain housing for both my ( Mental Health) and my physical health. I am on section 8 and have low income due to my developmental disabilities and there is no where to live because places in Dakota County are not taking section 8 anymore and I need and require someplace to live due to all my health problems that I have had since I was a baby. The cda is neglecting my housing for where I live because I am needing to move because my health has gotten worse where I have been to too many doctors and e.r.'s. and I can not afford anywhere else to live. I am being denied housing through the cda because I am past the age of 25 for the Lincoln Place and yet I am too young to move with my mom and two dogs who help me, where I can't live in senior housing. This is very much discrimination my mom has said and I totally agree with her. I am a voulnerable adult where my mom is my legal guardian through the state. I will NOT move back into a group home because I was emotionally abused in one and was treated awful and that has scarred me for ever wanting to live in another group home.  The cda is neglecting by helping with housing for the disabled. They need to help people better and some people who work there are awful to talk to. This why I gave them one star. I do not want to end up on the streets because of my housing situation and I would not survive on the streets. The best place where I have ever lived was my family townhome with my mom.
