Dairy Queen

Ever since the start of the pandemic, I have tried to go to restaurants that are on the cleaner side, and I have to say that this place is definitely on the top of my list. I mean I had no idea that a restaurant, let alone a fast food restaurant, could be so clean. Every time I go, everything from the floor to the tables and seats to the doors always look super clean. I pretty much never see trash or scraps of food anywhere, probably because I see employees cleaning the tables and sweeping the floor all the time. Even the bathroom is super clean, which is honestly shocking in a good way given that fast food bathrooms are typically pretty disgusting. I definitely appreciate the fact that this Dairy Queen appears to make cleanliness a top priority. Not to mention the quality of the food has always been great and is definitely the best out of all the Dairy Queens I have been to. The hot food is always super fresh and tasteful, which cannot be said about most fast food places. Even more expensive restaurants are getting more and more inconsistent when it comes to freshness and food quality, but not this place. The employees have also been great to interact with every time I have come here. Unlike a lot of other fast food restaurants, the employees are always very nice and friendly, so that is a huge plus as well. Because of the focus on cleanliness combined with the consistently great staff and food quality, this will definitely be my go-to fast food restaurant moving forward.

I always have an absolutely amazing experience every time I come here. The combination of high food quality, great customer service, low prices, restaurant environment, and cleanliness is unmatched. - The staff is super nice and friendly. They always go out of their way to make sure I have everything I need, and they always have such great attitudes. The owner Pat is also so nice, and I always enjoy talking with her. - The food is always fresh and always tastes so good. The ingredients are never stale or old, and it always tastes like everything is freshly cooked instead of prepared in a microwave. Given my experiences with other fast food restaurants, I am amazed at how consistent this restaurant is when it comes to freshness, taste, and high food quality. I never have to worry that some visits the food will be good while other visits the food will be bad because time and time again the restaurant never fails to deliver on food quality. - The restaurant is always so clean. I never see trash or scraps of food on the tables or floor, and the restroom is the cleanest restaurant restroom I know of. - I always get my food very quickly, and there is great attention to detail since my food is always prepared exactly how I want it. - The prices are amazing considering the portion size and the high quality of food. - I really enjoy the atmosphere inside the restaurant. The decorations create a nice old school vibe that I really like, and the music selection compliments the overall environment. This Dairy Queen is truly the gold standard when it comes to how a fast-food restaurant should operate, and I am so glad that it has been part of the La Porte community for so long.

I started going to this Dairy Queen a few months ago, and it has quickly become the best fast food restaurant I know of. The consistency when it comes to freshness, taste, and food quality is what makes this place stand out to me. I have tried almost all the hot items many times, and each time whatever I order always tastes great. The meat, whether it is in the form of burger patties, taco meat, or chicken/steak fingers, always tastes like it was freshly prepared and cooked on a grill or stove instead of tasting like it was thawed and heated in a microwave. The vegetables, whether they are in the burgers, salads, or tacos, always have a fresh, crisp texture, and stuff like the hamburger buns and taco shells always tastes freshly made. A lot of times when you go to other fast food restaurants, the ingredients taste stale and old, and it feels like everything was prepared in a microwave, but I never get that feeling here. Aside from the food, this is also the cleanest fast food restaurant I have ever been to. I never hesitate to sit down at a table or use the restroom, which sadly is not the case for many other fast food restaurants anymore. In terms of service, I always get my food quickly and the employees are always super nice and friendly whenever I ask any questions. Honestly nowadays when it comes to fast food, the standards have become pretty low. You typically can't ask for much more besides sometimes fast service, okay food for the price, and nonexistent customer service, but you will get much more than that here.

I'm going back to what I enjoy the most y'all a triple meat hunger buster, all the way, with a side of large fries and Dr. Pepper. ending with large oreo blizzard. I also would like to take the time to say Thank you and to give appreciation to Ms. Pat and her hard working Dairy Queen Team, their passion and dedication to bring out our order, perfectly every time is very commendable. not to mention its hot and fresh and made to order, also Barely any wait time from the drive thur, or ordering inside. they had also brought back the music that is something I enjoy the most while dining in, y'all if anyone wants the same experience please stop on by and get your next meal and see for yourself, how outstanding and delicious the food is. hopefully the weather cool down soon, because I can't wait until the chicken dumpling soup is back on the menu, sure does bring you warmth. please stay safe and take great care! Food was ok.. but service was horrible. The girl Samantha was extremely rude. Not once did she say thank you, you're welcome.. or really anything other than rudely telling us to go to the other side and wait. When she actually did speak, she didn't even look our direction and she was rude when talking. Not even a hello.. nothing. Customer service isn't her strong point.

I use to frequent this DQ 30 years ago and I always make a point to stop in when I am in the area. Great to see that it is still owned by the same person all these years. Consistency is always a good thing, especially when the standard is so good. Can't beat the double meat HungerBuster loaded with jalapenos. Only problem is I eat too much desserts as they are so appealing.

This location has the best food around. It is always cooked well and is always consistent like it is made with care. The staff is great as well, always friendly and a great example of excellent customer service.

Love this establishment it is run wonderfully by the wonderful Ms.Pat she treats her customers and employees great. This Dairy Queen treats every customer like a family member will definitely be returning soon! Vegetarian options: They have grilled cheese options and was able to feed my picky vegetarian

Hamburger. fries and beverage are always good. Price is good and restaurant is always very clean. We go at least once a week.Food: 5/5

Little communication error on whether we ordered a grilled chicken or crispy chicken sandwich, but other than that it was great for a Dairy Queen! Good burger and fresh fries also
