It was a mid way stopping point on our way home from Ottawa. The resto was very clean, but it kind of stopped there. The gentleman at the cash, while very polite, didn't speak English very well. Ordering was kind of a pain. The food took forever to come out. When we got our burgers, we jumped in the car to eat on the road... they were horrible. If we'd still been at the restaurant, I'd have asked for a refund. Moral of the story, if you go to an ice cream place, get ice cream, not cooked food.
Hot eats and cool treats. Ordered 3 items all made to DQ standard. It was hot out so the freezers were struggling. Good service, polite young guys and girls working.
This review is getting 2 stars for my service this week. Went in on Monday to order my daughter's cake, was told that they couldn't put on the design she wanted because the writing wouldn't fit. I order her a cake from a Dairy Queen EVERY year and never had an issue with this. Then I couldn't get the colors that she wanted because they don't have the colors on hand all year round. Next, I went to go and pick up her cake today on Thursday and THEY DIDN'T EVEN MAKE IT! I prepaid for the cake and they couldn't even bother! Then they said they couldn't decorate it today because the ONLY person who decorates wasn't in. Anytime you go in to talk to the decorator, they are NEVER in. This is ridiculous! Every other Dairy Queen I have gone to has always had more then one person knowing on how to decorate cakes! This week has been the worst service I have ever received from DQ! They need to get more decorator's in there or start teaching some of your staff how to decorate! I didn't even get a discount or anything for their mess up! I ended up buying a plain cake and just ended up having to decorate it myself. One thing that I didn't want to worry about with already so much on my plate to do for the party this weekend, now I have to fit decorating and making icing for it into my busy schedule!!! Thanks a lot!
It is finally open year round. My prefered ice cream place.Food: 5/5
Terrible experience within walking into the store. Staff didn’t even say hi and just ask what we wanted. When told the price she just wanted a $20 and not what we wanted to give to get $10 in change instead because she didn’t know how to count. Then rip the cone out of her colleague hand without given us our change back. While touching money she then touch the cones I was suppose to eat, very disgusting. The chocolate on the cone was all smudged and she didn’t want to fix it. Was very rude to us when we ask for our change and said we were taking too long. We then ask for a refund because we didn’t food that a staff could not even wash their hands before touching our food. Ask to speak to a manger and we were greeted with a shift manager who was just standing there the entire time looking. Staff name was Chloe. Very poor quality and manners. For a retired restaurant owner who experience that today was very sad to see this is the quality staff this place has. We used to go often to this location to support a small town but this was awful and will not be going back. If I could give zero star I would have.

Went in for a Blizzard. It Was like a cold milk soup. When we asked the server why it was like a liquid milkshake, he replied, that’s how it usually is. So much for turning it upside down before giving it to you, to demonstrate how thick it is. Worst $7 we ever spent… never again, we will go to Grenville next time we are craving ice cream.
They swapped owners and some of the new hires havent been shown how to make the items on the menu. I had to explain to one of them what an Orange Julius is and the blizzards they gave me were only 1” full of the cheesecake bits. They were just empty ice cream after the first inch. The new renos are nice tho ‍
They seemed a but under staffed but it was good and we enjoyed our ice creams
Closed for Renovations. A bigger sign might have helped us know this before pulling in, and being disappointed that we couldn't get our DQ fix. Here is to hoping that once spring rolls around, the renovations will be done and a fabulous dinning experience awaits!
