Love this place with all my heart. These folks kept me alive on brutal winter weeks when I didn't think I was gonna make it! Always gave me huge portions with extra meat for free upon request and all at a fair price. Would eat, have seconds and a little something to takeaway. Ate here 3-4 days a week. These people here have soul..
Amazing food, beautiful people. As authentic as you can get for minestoa.
Excellent food, fast serving and ok customer service! I love their food! They run out of basic menu items hours before close - not good at all.
A LOT of food for a very reasonable price. Not sure why the name is Daily Cairo Grill? Getting a meal here is exactly like what I used to buy in Eastleigh Nairobi not Cairo, Egypt. Beef sambusas have great flavor, it would be awesome to have a lentils/veg sambusa option too!
I found hair on goat. Not clean place and I wouldn't recommend anyone going there. Place should be shut down by city's food inspection
AMAZING. The sambusa are the best thing I’ve ever had in my entire life. The long lines you see are there for a reason, because it’s amazing!
If you can tolerate the decrepitness of the place, you'll find the best samosas you've ever had in your life. I got 10 and then immediately regretted ordering them after I walked in. I waited very anxiously and when I received them I waited until I got home to eat them, not really giving them a chance. To my surprise, I polished off 3 and wished I didn't have to share the rest. Crispy, savory, flavorful and juicy with a kick of pepper/spiciness. They are literally the best halal samosas I've had in my life and I've had hundreds. My advice? Go, order, look at your phone, wait your turn, don't talk to anyone. Get your Sambusas and devour them at home. I spent around $11 for 10 sambusas/samosas.
The only reason I’m even giving this place a two stars is the fact that they have good Samosas and cheap meals. Otherwise, their food is tasteless and rice is always dry you need to ask them put some sauce in it . You only have two choices to choose from the menu and so they might not add any sauce on that dry rice so you will just down it with water or juice . Being SOMALI my self who loves his rice I’m disappointed with their rice and food choices . I stopped eating from here and occasionally I may stop by just to grab tea and samosas . I used to recommend people a lot to this place to get their taste of Authentic SOMALI food but this place but I no longer do that . At the end of the day to each his own liking. But like I said used to go here almost everyday and expected they work on their menu but it’s going down the hill . I don’t just need quantity , tasteful food is half of the appetite .
Was looking for a place that sells Sambusa after trying it from many of my friends in the past. I was recommended to this place after asking around and I can say I’m satisfied and will keep going back. Perfectly seasoned with the right amount of spices and pepper, very flavorful. Love the heat to it. 10/10.
I love the samosas here. There is very quick service in the female line. However if your male and you go there the Line can get very long. To be honest I would wait in a longer line if I had to. They have food ready made buffet style as well as menu items. They also cater. I took my food to go and it was just too crowded and loud to eat in there. It also was a little warm.
