Story

With the Dancey Ballroom now closed, we have relocated all our classes and dance events to our D2 Dance Studio at 55 West 8th Avenue in Vancouver's Mount Pleasant neighbourhood. Visit our website at: http://www.danceystudios.com

We have rebranded this Facebook page as "D2 Dance Studio - Dancey Studios" to reflect the change in studio locations and to better provide information about our dance classes, social events and other related activities.

Great managers and great teacher Will be back for many many other classes for sure.

I went there for wine and cheese night. Laid-back I.e. not very intimidating environment! I danced 4 hrs without a break. Was it the music? The dancers? The fact that I haven't danced in ages? The vino?  Idk. Perhaps all the above. But yet one thing stands-- the staff here are down to earth and pleasant ^^

Dance school with great instructors! I took salsa lessons with Patrick and he is the best! Love their socials, very friendly environment! I just wish it could be more spacious like the old Dancey Ballroom, but I understand that Vancouver rentals are crazy expensive.

Great studio to learn all kinds of new dance styles. Taking a Salsa refresher right now and the instructors are great, the people are welcoming and over all it's been a wonderful experience.

I finally got to experience Salsa lessons. I am so thankful that I got to experience it here! The instructor was friendly, helpful, hands on and made lessons FUN. Great way to spend a Friday evening.

Great place to learn & social dance, started taking lessons here 3 years ago. My favourite is their Sunday night Salsa Soiree... Wine, cheese & salsa dancing.

I'd say this is one of the best dance studios in Vancouver

One of two dance studios that the Danceys own, it is the more modern looking one as well. Like the studio at 505 Hamilton, it runs a variety of dance classes. Unlike the 505 Hamilton location, it isn't as atmospheric or architecturally beautiful. However, parking is much easier here and closer to food amenities.

My friends are taking lessons at this studio. They are having a great experience! I have taken lessons too and I am impressed at their great coaching. The location is fantastic!
