Dépanneur Mini-Coût

Legendary neighborhood Dep. They recently redid the floors and shelving, and the place looks fantastic. There is a great selection of Micro-Brews, and the deli makes yummy sandwiches on the spot. Free parking for customers around the side. They sell X-Mas Trees in the winter, and gardening supplies in the Spring/Summer. Lots of freshly baked goodies.

After 35+ years of shopping at Mini-Cout I will no longer ever step foot in that store. I was short 25 cents on 50$ purchase for the first time ever (cigarette prices were raised) and the young store owner wouldn't let it slide. 35 years of loyalty down the drain, for 25 cents. Someone needs to give that idiot an economics class. Disrespect= never again.

Just moved to the neighborhood and happy to find this one stop and shop place nearby. Also, impressed with the hours 6 am-10 pm six days a week , with them opening at 7 am on Sunday. The new floor looks great-I remarked about it in the store before I came to these reviews. As for Laura Hamilton below, a few things I would like to say to you. Firstly, how sad for you that you couldn't serve your own self interest by letting this one slide. If you're run after in Mtl. East where you don't live, have at it. You don't "blank" where you live, because it always comes back to bite you. I stretched that saying's reach because it applies here as well. Now you have no more convenient Dep. That's on you, like Sean Spicer says. Secondly, it's their lot and they don't know where you are going after and for how long. The fruit store's business is not theirs. You left their premises so you should have left their premises. Thirdly, one block away from your home and you're driving??? Life is about picking your battles but winning the war. Foolish decision.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place....well, except that it's probably time they redo their floors. Good selection of drinks, candy, beer, chips, etc. Plus they have a nice deli counter. Lots of premed sandwiches too, which are surprisingly good.
