Called them in to evaluate an intermittent basement flooding problem. Thought for sure that it was a waste line back up problem and that the line needed to be snaked. The plumber spent about 45 minutes looking things over and then told me that while he was willing to clean out the line, he really didn't think that was the problem and advised I have the washer examined. I decided to follow his advice (and he turned out to be right). Despite spending a significant amount of time on site, DM did not charge me for the visit.

My elderly mother called D M Plumbing because she had a water leak somewhere in her bathroom wall that needed fixed. The plumber from D M Plumbing said he would look over the situation and give her an estimate. After cutting 3 holes in the wall he still couldn't determine the source of the leak. Finally he thought he had narrowed it down to where the leak was coming after 3 hours of being there and found mold and determined he couldn't do anything else or look anywhere else until the mold was removed. We had someone come in and clean up the mold and we called the plumber back and he refused to come back. He charged my mother $219 without the estimate even given beforehand. We called another plumber who in the matter of 20 minutes determined the leak and fixed correctly. Obviously DM Plumbing is inept and felt they charged my mother before even giving her an estimate which seemed wrong to me.
