The service of the pharmacy is very bad. I am a female and the doctor gave me prescription about sleepy pills and another medicine. After I paid, I found they didn’t give me sleeping pill which is the main purpose of the prescription but gave me three dose of the other medicine. So I asked them that I only need one dose of that kind of medicine. It takes a long time for their manager to come to refund me. I said said I came to this store, it has been an hour. Then they said I am harassing them??I am female and they are all female and I am just telling the truth. So I just asked the prescription back. I have never seen an cvs with such a bad service!
Rude African pharmacist. Avoid. Very unprofessional. I am a Nurse and try to help my patient’s out but when you deal with pharmacies that are unjust to their patients it can get hard! I spent an extended amount of time being hung up on over and over while trying to explain the error that the pharmacy was making regarding our patient. Just bad care.
Do not use this pharmacy. I had to call them multiple times over multiple days just to show up an hour before closing for them to tell me they didn't even have the medication which they led me to believe was in the process of being filled. They left us without an absolutely necessary medication and no time to source it somewhere else. Then on top of their complete incompetence they had the nerve to yell at my wife for daring to complain and explain to them what happened. I will never step foot in this store again, and I will undoubtedly be better off for it. I had been nothing but understanding and cordial to their mistakes, but they showed me that was far more then they deserved. I repeat, do not use this pharmacy. It will only be a matter of time before you regret it.
This CVS is absolutely horrible. I've been getting prescriptions filled at CVS for decades in different states and have always had good service, but the staff here is frighteningly incompetent. They take up to a week to fill an auto-fill Rx that is literally pulling a box off of a shelf. The last two times they filled it, they sent a message saying it was out of stock and when I FINALLY got someone on the phone, she said they had simply looked on the wrong shelf. There is usually a very long line to pick up and as another reviewer mentioned, they hang an "out to lunch" sign around noon.
Couldn't get passed the ridiculous automated service to find out I'd my prescription was ready. The line would just go quiet and either hang up or give a dead-end message on repeat. Couldn't speak to a person if my life depended on it. Then when I drove there , the staff was absolutely useless in aiding me. If you need medications that are detrimental to your well being stay as far as possible away from this cvs location.
Clean building and employees are friendly but Pharmacy needs to hirer more help to assist customers, lines and wait time are usually to long and definitely need to hirer more help.
I have never in my life seen such ineptitude and negligence. I honestly don't understand how this store stays in business. No one EVER answers the phone. The app is useless, it takes weeks to get a prescription filled, and then it's impossible to find out when they are ready.I don't receive texts or calls to notify me of anything. This has been going on for over a year. You stand in line for hours. This is so unacceptable that I'm flabbergasted. People depend on their medications, and could be placed in life threatening situations without their meds. CVS needs to stop playing with their customers lives.Im specifically speaking of the store at 1005 Delaware Avenue, De
They dispensed me meds that expired 8 months ago. They wait weeks to get my meds filled. Weeks, no joke. The wait on the phone is average 15-30 mins to speak to pharmacy staff, if they ever pick up. I can’t get through; you basically have to go there, wait in line, speak to the register people and then come back to wait in line all over again to try to get your meds. Their hours have been slashed back dramatically. Not enough staff. It used to be a really decent pharmacy before summer 2020. They need to get their act together. I have recently switched pharmacies to another one; my review here today is prompted by a 25-minute hold session on the phone to find out my last acute medication called in to them over *3 weeks ago* can be made ready for pickup in an hour. The app is of no assistance. If I could give no stars I would. Go anywhere but here if you prefer to get your meds by time you need them. Seriously.
This is the 2nd time in 35 days that I had a prescription sent over and waited hours at least 4 hours and the prescription wasn’t ready. The first time it was for pain. When I came to the pharmacy I am asked to come back in 30 or so minutes. I understand being short staffed but they really need to do better. The first time the lady at counter was nice and courteous great customer service skills but this second time this female at first was a little short but she did end up being helpful. CVS has really gone down hill.
This pharmacy is the most ridiculous excuse of a pharmacy ever. I've never been able to get anyone on the phone--at 10am, 3pm, 530pm. They dont take any initiative when filling Rx's. Im utterly disgusted.
