12-27-22 Been TRYING to pay taxes on line for about 3 days, it SAIDS not up dated yet, but DUE JANUARY 26 and the web sight would NOT accept ANY PAYMENT, CLAIMING INCOMPLETE INFORMATION… I finally called, and the male employee was very considerate, but only said what i already read on line… and to keep trying during the week… Keeping in mind penalties ANDa major politician said she don’t want any person to OWN PROPERTY

They took our payment for property taxes out of our checking account weeks ago but never credited to our property taxes. The first time I called, they disconnected me. The second time I waited on hold for nearly half an hour to be told they have no idea what happened with our payment that they took the money for and I needed to call their payment system provider, Point Pay. Absolutely useless customer service.

Busy place but they keep the line moving. Make sure you have all your paperwork filled out & identification ready.

I called to inquire about a revision on my property taxes and was pleasantly surprised as the little wait and the thorough explanation i received regarding the process. I don't get a tax break but i was satisfied with their explanation.

Lady in appraisals was incredibly rude. Annoyed I was calling from the second she answered. Yelled at me "I'm not being rude, you're not comprehending." "I don't need to confirm it, you can see it for yourself on the page." All I asked was "Ok, so I hear what your saying, I see it here, you can confirm that the error is on my lenders side?" She just talked over me and repeated the same thing the whole call when I tried to ask clarifying questions.

I sked for the Recorders office & was put on hold for 10 min 7 sec.After being told how important my call was I hung up. I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow when I go down there.

Not at all user friendly! And you can't view images in a TIF file they use...because only Windows XP which is old as dirt has the means to let you view the file!! Completely frustrated with the site trying to find my lot and section number!! Edit: I do want to say, someone contacted me from the office to help me and E-mailed the info I needed... they were very nice and helpful...therefore I'm upgrading to 4 stars!

What times are ridiculously lengthy. In person you see alot of employees chatting and goofing around with non work related things while people are waiting long wait times for information or clairity of information. They are way over paid for the work they perform there. If they seperated employees and prevent then from chattering and doing things not related to what they are being paid for their job would be more productive. This is just my view and opinion although maybe not the views or experiences of others. The County is ridiculous and in many cases incompetent in most of my dealings with them as a whole and the employees are RUDE. I can count on 1 finger the only time I encountered one who was professional I alot of criminal activities happen with these county agencies... Things they do and are allowed to do would land the average citizen into incarceration and financial penalties if not worse if they behave or enacted the same way. Also we beed to fire all of the current county administrations and start with new people because the current and former have done a horrible unguided, unstructored unorgainzed job... It's almost 10 AM County employees are LAZY

Made a payment for my balance for the year 15 days ago...I email them to inquire they say the payment is still pending. Really when the money has been deducted from my account and Official Payments states you already received your money 1 day after my payment was made..yea sure

I wish a Zero rating was possible. No matter where you are in a conversation, at 4:30pm you are hung up on. Their day ends and that is it.
