I regret ever walking into custom floors. Bad experience from quote to finish. Ended up having to hire their competitor to fix the botched job ! Started with a heavily padded quote by Chad. 20 sheets of plywood $2000 dollars plus tax. Another $2000 dollars to remove 150 sq feet of linoleum and 450 sq feet of vinyl plank... We discussed leveling the center of my livingroom. Chad also broke the news they do not remove toilets, nor do they do trim... Had to try hire a guy off kijiji to do trim. ENDED UP BEING A BLESSING. He offered to rip up floor for $450. Agreed because I wanted to see if 20 sheets of plywood was really necessary. NOT ONE SHEET WAS NEEDED. Chad came back to see if we had done a good job, new quote & again we discussed leveling.... I'd also like to add kijiji guy did remove toilet & took everything to the dump for $450. Custom Floors sent one guy to install new vynil plank. One guy to install carpet. Overworked or underpaid ???? They did a horrible job leveling, doors were mixed up or hung wrong. Thanks once again to the man I hired off kijiji for fixing the doors ! Left a bad review & a month later got a generic email asking to phone. THEY DID NOT REMEMBER WHO I WAS : unethical often ? Derrick owner came to look at my floors & agreed guys should not have put floors in without proper leveling. THEY CHARGED ME 900 FOR LEVELING ! Derrick says we can fix it BUT ITS GONNA COST YOU. Hired your competitor instead ! NEVER AGAIN CUSTOM FLOORS ! You truly have no shame ....
Very helpful staff. Got some help along the way. I'd never done this kind of DYI project, it turned out well. I'll shop there anytime.
Good quality products and excellent installers. Every other company that we spoke to refused to remove the bathroom toilets and said that I would have to arrange for a plumber or do it myself removing them totally from any warranty. Not Carpet One. Yes it is an add on, but only a small one. When it came time the installer removed the toilet, dropped it in a Rubbermaid tote, completed the floor installation, dropped in a new wax ring and bolted down the toilet. Job well done Mike. Would not hesitate to use Carpet One again or refer them to anyone else.
Great place! Not only a carpet store, with great customer service you can't help but be a repeat customer, installers are some of the best in the business! You don't get satisfied results going into the BIG BOX stores for carpet, tile, grout the fix you real good!!
Renovations can be very stressful and I usually don't handle well. Custom Floors Carpet One made the process easy, fast, affordable, and stress free! From helping me with the best flooring selection that would meet my needs, to removing my old carpet and installing my new flooring, Derek Walter and his team exceeded my expectations!
I recently went through a flood in my basement, and Custom Floors were kind enough to install brand new carpeting throughout, including some areas that had not previously been outfitted with rugs. Chad was awesome, the pricing was great and they even managed to squeeze the install in early to fit the timeline of the rest of the abatement. The installers showed up on time and left the basement immaculate. Highly recommended. This is a great company.

Refill station for Bedrock Granite marble counter cleaner was know where in site. Employee said she didn't know anything about it until she asked someone else and then happily refilled our bottles.
Aimee is awesome always helpful and friendly with no nonsense recommendations on flooring options. Have bought from them several times from carpet to LVP always a good experience
This place has no shame. They lie to suit their own purposes at your expense. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
