Crystal Cafe

Let's just say kitchen nightmares! food was not what we ordered, so we asked for the correct dish they said that they would not bring anything else that would have to work for us. I said we just want what we ordered, they refused and said we have to pay for the food even though it was not are ordered. I have never been treated like this before in a restaurant, I feel like it was criminal, they said we couldn't leave until we pay. I oh most had to call the Police. I Will Never go back to the crystal cafe!!! EVER!!!

Based on the good reviews my husband and I decided this place was a definite must-stop on our vacation. I had the Caesar salad which was excellent! And my husband had a Blt which he said was about the best he'd had and was so full he couldn't finish his fries but that they were amazing as well. We learned they are under new ownership as of two weeks ago and they are SO nice and friendly making sure everything was good. Definitely stop in and see them if you plan to be in the area. Delicious

Expected diner quality food and brisk service. Saturday after peak lunch on Labor Day Weekend. Seated quickly and order taken. Waited 50 minutes before asking about our meal and it arrived ten minutes later (oatmeal and a sandwich). Reuben was loaded with thick, tough slices of corned beef in taupe/mauve. Without the meat it was a reasonable preparation. Oatmeal didn't have a discernable amount of the maple syrup, but the pecans and cherries were as expected. Nice folk, but never again.

Was there Nov11,2017 for breakfast and met the nicest people who work and own the place, had a great breakfast. When we was leaving the next day we said lets stop again. they remembered us and again very nice interaction and food, price was not overboard like others in the area. We will be back. we go there area alot. The Sicards

Great food....BUT THE WAIT. OUR WAITRESS People were waited on and served long before our order went in. Our waitress was not on the ball at all. We had to wait 15 then had to ask for service. Then we waited at least an hour to get our food. The table next to us waited an hour for their food..then just left. The cafe itself tried to make it right by giving us a free cinnamon roll. Too bad we liked that place...but will not go back.
