We provide compassionate and dignified funeral and memorial services. We have a licensed staff of Funeral Directors and Assistants who are passionate about serving the community. We have an on-site crematory which is well maintained and properly licensed.

Story

Croxford Merrill Mortuary was founded in 1929 by Lloyd Croxford and was temporarily operated out of a storefront shop at 307 1st Ave North. Lloyd began construction on an English Tudor style building in September of 1930 and was proud to open the building for business in May of 1931. Lloyd,with his wife, Patti, and their two sons, Gary and Dennis, lived in the funeral home for the first 25 years they were in business. As Gary and Dennis grew up, they became passionate about funeral service, and the name was changed to Croxford & Sons Funeral Home. Lloyd passed away in 1973 and Gary and Dennis became owner-operators. Gary retired in 2003. Dennis continued serving the community as the sole proprietor until his own retirement in 2015. At that time, he sold the business to Drew and Maggie Kent. The Kent family strives to uphold the Croxford's legacy of compassion for each family we serve.
