Creel Funeral Home

My father-in-law passed away in Denver and we went through a local funeral home to have him cremated. We planned to take his ashes to Lewistown to be buried in the city cemetery, and contacted Ralph Mihlfeld at Creel funeral home. Since my father-in-law was a WWII Navy veteran, Ralph arranged for the presentation of the flag by military representatives from the Navy, and arranged with the local American Legion to provide an honor guard. He also coordinated with the cemetery and with the clergy person who was going to do the graveside service. He was present at the service and provided chairs for the family at the graveside. This is what funeral homes are supposed to do ... right? Yes, but the part of this that is so incredible is that Ralph didn't charge us for his time and efforts. We voluntarily compensated him, but this just shows what a genuine and professional person he is to want to make sure everything was done properly for our family coming in from out-of-town. What was initially going to be a very brief and simple graveside service turned out to be a wonderful and memorable event with the military honors. Thank you, Ralph!
