A perfect place for brunch. It offers luxurious meals experience with a reasonable price. The atmosphere is fantastic and the food is impressive. The breakfast sandwich is yummy and its bread is crispy, besides the source is appetizing. The almond croissant is also amazing, there is some filling like some fruit jam, which makes the croissant more flavorful. Definitely top 1 brunch I have ever had in Montreal!
If only I could describe how beautiful this cafe is with my words. Never expected that there’s such a quaint cafe with so much history to it. The latte was just what I wanted in the morning but didn’t get to try the food. There were many folks working at the cafe and there seemed some private spaces you can book for personal office/ meetings. Definitely recommend this cafe for coffee and be fascinated by the interior.
Before you read my review Kindly follow me to support me. It's great experience in this place.. We went to have a breakfast in somewhere around but we end up in this cool place They do have many selections of Salmon and croissants. I reco you to either walk or cycle Enjoy
I was so fascinated by the interior of this cafe as soon as I walked in. Normally, I don’t expect food/drinks to be that great at cafes known for their interior but the mushroom avocado club was so delicious and full of flavour that I would come back just for this sandwich. The lattes we ordered were pretty good too. Overall, I would highly recommend others to check this place out if they haven’t already done so.
An incredible place in the Old Montreal and a must visit for any coffee lover. The open space and high ceiling really adds something special and unique to the atmosphere. The cubicles offers some privacy if you manage to get a place to sit. It's our third time here and the food is still pretty good. It's very busy, so come early.Food: 4/5
Very good espresso, great snacks and sandwiches. But the most important is the space itself. The architecture of the building is gorgeous! Reminds .e of old elegant cafe houses in Vienna and Budapest. The staff is so busy but always very kind. And even when it is peak hours, there is a good chance you cam get a table.
Absolutely amazing coffee and equally terrible ambience and I will not recommend it if you are planning to have a conversation with a friend or colleague or god forbid you are planning to work from there, it is an absolute nightmare. If you didn’t know, it’s an old bank that was converted into a cafe but they don’t own the whole bank, it shared so very cramped tables and seating that’s overflowing with people. Long lines make the baristas lives miserable as they try to keep up with the orders and it is hard to almost impossible to find seating. You will be lucky if you did find one, don’t let it go. My recommendation would be grab the delicious coffee and maybe a pastry or two and get out of these asap. It is well worth the coffee but not worth the ambience - AT ALL. There are much better cafes nearby based on your needs.
Beautiful spot but definitely expect a long line on a Saturday morning. The architecture is amazing so that kept our eyes busy while we waited in line. The staff did their best to keep the line moving but it was definitely a crowded space with people seated and people waiting for their orders.Food: 4/5
Nice place near downtown Montreal. It’s very huge with good vibe. They offer wide variety of options, coffee, tea, lunch and dinner. They always have a lot of visitors so make try to get here early to have a table. I couldn’t believe they have this big coffee in a downtown location. You have to visit to believe it, never seen anything similar in Toronto.
Great place to grab a coffee and treat or sandwich and enjoy the atmosphere. They have good quality coffee and other cafe inspire drinks and really good sandwiches. The highlight was definitely the beautiful building! It is an old bank building from the early 1900's that's been converted to a cafe. They've kept a lot of the banque elements of the building still in place which is neat. It gets very crowded during the day time but is a must see.
