Visiting the village had me in awe. It's a step back in time to see a lifestyle of care, intelligent, and sustainably. There are examples of materials and the products they are made into within each long house. It's a very educational place to bring your whole family. It's very necessary to see how important indigenous people are.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Beautiful park in fall, longhouse is one of places for elementary school grade 3 students to learn how fifteen century people lived. There are couples of walking trails with beautiful sightseeing. You won't be disappointed. Like it very much.
Amazing Iroquoian village. The place is full of positive energy. People working here know a lot about the place and they can solve any of your questions about the village. It is a small awesome museum that tells you more about the forgotten first Nations history.
Well showcased and preserved culture exhibited. Tickets are reasonable and one can ask for senior discount as well.Visited onPublic holidayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
It really is a beautiful lake. It’s also conveniently safe if you have children. The boardwalk is easy to follow and keeps the kids in line so that they don’t wander off. Would recommend for families.
This fantastic spot is rich with history on the First Nations people of the area. The foot paths are also absolutely fantastic and very well maintained. My two boys loved walking on the boardwalk which circles Crawford Lake in it's entirety. Highly recommend!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
I was surprised to see such a huge houses built around 8 centuries ago only with wood. Unfortunately couldn't visit inside the houses as we entered the park after hours on the weekend.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Good experience for being a local spot. Great trail options and if you buy 1 day pass you can visit all 6 halton conservation areas. Got to do 2 in a day which was a nice experience
Interesting place to visit with friends and children, beautiful trails, and majestic history of this place.
