Got the Bag B with the Boom sauce mild and it was good and full and you get what you pay for. Also got the 6 piece lemon pepper wing also good. The ranch was no good at all. My sister got clam chowder she said it was good and creamy just needed salt and pepper. Parking: Behind the building
Going to start and say I'm not a seafood kind of guy, but I like to try things here and there. Had crayfish and shrimp in garlic butter, and it was good. Did have some lemon pepper wings just and in case, and they were good. The staff was great.Dine in: Yes
We had the raw oysters, they were kind of gritty. Then the boil came out, it was so amazing! Everything was done just right with the perfect amount of spice. We will definitely be back next time we are in town for work.Food: 5/5
Arrived at the tail end of service, Front door greeter told me that they stopped seating at 8:30pm , but would offer a to go order. I politely advised her it was 8:28pm and she reluctantly gave us a table. We ordered a boil for two and a few appetizers. Tiffany our server was great she saved the rating. Food was on par with what was expected and pricing was fair. Crab Cakes stood out and were delicious.
No one in our group of nine had been here previously, but we all had a GREAT experience. I had the boil special that came with a lobster tail, headless shrimp, snow crab legs, and sausage. The boil also came with two red potatoes and two mini ears of corn. I went with their original seasoning of mild Cajun, and most others went with the garlic butter. Very large portions, very nicely seasoned for a wonderful flavor. Took enough home to have two more meals. Our server was also very attentive, friendly, and accommodating. The only thing missing were bibs and gloves.
My 1st time frequenting this place. I was visiting family and friends in town. My cousin told me about this restaurant so I said let's try it out. A pleasurable moment. We ordered Option A. We also had 2 cocktails to go with our meal. I highly recommend checking out this spot. This is top tier seafood boil. So far, the BEST in the Midwest!
Food was really good, we waited for food for 10 min. Service wasn't bad but the waitress was kinda lost, she bring to us the receipt when we was still eating, we have to ask her if she can bring more drinks. Other than that all good.
I read some of the reviews and thought I would give this place a try. First off, the server was really nice and courteous. She was attentive about our dinning, so that's the positive. The negatives, however, overlapped the overall experience. I know it's out of the workers hand, but if you're expecting a quiet or decent environment for dining then you might want to look elsewhere. There were guests who were really loud and annoying. I know it's OK to go celebrate and have fun but being courteous to those around you and having proper etiquette seems to be lacking nowadays. Also, the market value for the seafood was rather shocking! It was almost $70/lb for king crab legs and we only got 2 - 3 legs. Overall, I didn't mind tipping the server for her good job; however, the atmosphere and the price for what we got left little to be desired. More than likely, it's a one and done place for me. Try if you want, but I just wanted to contribute my experience so that others can be aware of similar situations in the future. Hopefully, this helps others.
Came here to eat about 4 times now and this is one of the better seafood boil places we have. The portions are good and the flavor is good
I placed a to go order shortly before closing and the food I was given was absolutely unacceptable. The snow crab and shrimp boils were entirely too salty, the corn was dry and over cooked, and the potatoes were not done. I was so upset because I drove 30 min., spent almost $90 dollars and couldn’t even eat the food I anticipated eating. I called the next day to report my disappointment in the service and the manager wasn’t available. So a worker told me he had to reach out to a manager. He called me back and said the manager said, “There can’t be a refund without the food.” So I responded, “Are you not aware that seafood spoils and smells sitting out and I threw the food out.” He said he understands, but the manager said I would have to bring the food back for a refund, but I should come in and talk to her the next day when she was in. I went up there the next day and she basically said the same thing and was telling me that I would have to bring the food in that I bought two days ago. Two days ago!!! I offered to show her a video of the food and she said she physically needed the food there to do anything about it. This is very disheartening and unacceptable. Why do you need food that has already been carried out of your restaurant to be brought back two days later ? I will never spend another penny at this place. For me, a replacement of fresh food would have sufficed. I’m very upset with this experience and will be reaching out to corporate.
