Worst firm I have ever had to use. They were late by 3 hours on the first appointment and that should have said something off the bat. We had a total of around 7 appointment and they were late to 6 of them. Some they forgot we even had scheduled! They "forgot" to tell me about several court ordered classes that the judge told my lawyer I must attend! They misfiled some of our legal documents. They didn't file some on time. They then lied right to my face and told me the court clerk's must have not sent it to me. When I called the court clerks they said they had them on file as my lawyer and would have sent it to them. I paid almost $3,000 dollars with arrangements to make payments once that trust runs out of several hundred dollars a month. The lawyer who represented me was leaving the firm and they told me if I didn't put more money on the trust fund they wouldn't represent me even though I already had made payment arrangements when I handed them a check for $2500 just 2 months prior! It was the worst experience of my life dealing with a firm. Lied, manipulated, mishandled my documents, didn't tell me about court appointed meetings that only my lawyer was present on. What surprised me the most was when I looked them up, I saw only 1 review from years of practice. At the end of the day....trust your gut. We have ONLY gone through the pre-trial, are only 2 months into the case and they have charged me about 3k and mishandled and not informed me of court ordered events. How can someone who practices law for so long have no reviews? Trust your gut....now, in the process of retaining a law firm who is truly looking out for me. I felt like cattle in pen...they just wanted to turn and burn em and really didn't care one bit that they had mishandled and lied to me about my case. Who can you trust if you cannot trust your own law firm? You have been warned!
