Diane and Ron and their family have been producing maple syrup for generations. No matter where my dad was posted my uncle would visit the Coutts family to buy maple syrup and would send it to us. A taste of hope is so important. I stop by whenever I am in the area, sometimes for my family supply, sometimes for gifts and sometimes for local honey or some of the great home prepared pies and other foods that Diane makes. Going to visit Diane is a little bit of home for me - a connection with Lanark County.
