The most unprofessional court in the province of Alberta!! Watched traffic keepers/officers and sheriffs horseplay in the court while waiting for the trials to begin. This court, especially run by the old man judge is becoming a money making machine for the village of Boyle fully taking advantage of many honest hard workers travelling to Fort Mcmurray. I understand there are reckless drivers who put others in danger and they should be convicted, but when officer/traffic keeper makes wrong assumption on stand and judge admitting there is no evidence and in the end still unfairly ruling guilty, only to easily collect hard worked money. Spent 6 hr in court and witnessed cases treated unprofessionally where evidence were unclear. Unless you have a lawyer, so obvious the judge will not give you any chance. Tried to make an appeal but time allowed is very limited and all requirements are unrealistic for the 30 days allowed, especially when court is not collaborating. Horrible experience, unfairly $289 off my pocket and demerits on my driving record only due to traffic keeper's wrong assumption and judge admitting of no evidence, but unfairly still ruling guilty only to collect the money, without even asking if more time is needed to pay. Someone should really look into this court's practice of Canadian law.
