Country Squire Motel

A great motel run by the most friendly gentleman. He offered great recommendations for where to eat and even joined us for friendly conversations while sitting outside.nThe town has a wonderful beach that is close by and not too crowded.nThe room was clean and comfortable with the usual fridge, microwave and coffee machine. We had a room with a Jacuzzi and there was plenty of hot water to enjoy this and have a shower. The pressure was also great.nI highly recommend this motel.

Booked by family member. Surprisingly good for the low cost. Family run, with friendly and attentive service. Very clean and well maintained. Showing it's age certainly, but clean and welcoming nonetheless. Nice picnic table out front with an umbrella. Would recommend to any budget traveller.

Staff is very rude especially the female lady very ignorant. Beds are extra firm very bad shape were outdated so like sleeping on the floor had a horrible night sleep don't recommend this place i left there was supposed to stay for 2 nights. Room was under my girlfriends name Carole-Anne Mckinnon. We went to the knights inn down the street they have very comfy beds and great sevice. Staff were alot more friendly and no attitude like I got from Country Squire Motel which only uses one ply toilet paper so bring your own and a air freshener rooms smell like a moldy basement bad experience Don't Recommend Country Squire Motel.

The room was very dirty-the floor, tables, chairs, everything looked like no one had cleaned them. I had to use tissues to wipe all the surfaces, and they turned completely black. The fridge had mold inside the freezer. My child and I felt itchy when sleeping in those beds. The bathroom didn't have a ventilation fan, which made the room smell terrible after using it. I toasted and turned until after 2am; trying to force myself to sleep. I didn't expect much-I just wanted a clean room and a good night's rest on my journey - but I was truly disappointed to have paid $135 for a night like that.

Rooms of course were a bit dated BUT very clean. We were greeted with a very inviting and engaging lady at the front desk which was a pleasure after driving for 13 hours. Would totally recommend this place for an overnight stay.
