Don't bother wasting your money on the curry. I paid $20.00 for some poorly seasoned potatoes. With maybe 4-6 very thin sliced goat. Terrible, absolutely terrible. When I called to complain, the chef informed the lady I was speaking to that he "put the required amount of goat" in my meal. So basically saying these guys wouldn't fix my issue. If your looking for curry anything, find yourself a proper west Indian restaurant, don't come here. Tasteless. Y'all need to hire a new chef, this is just pure laziness. Dudes a joke. Shout out to the Bot on Skip for fixing my issues quicker then these guys could. Poor customer service, VERY poor food portion, VERY poor taste.
Been ordering takeout for years but recently been quite disappointed. We called to find out and were told that this is their new way of doing things. Their meat portions in their dishes have definitely been cut in half If not more …. the quality is definitely not there. The chicken dishes used to have a nice big chunks of chicken now you’re lucky if you get a couple shreds, with tons of onions and potatoes to fill in the gap. Would rather pay more and get the same as we always did. Can’t put an onion or a potato in front of a child instead of chicken it doesn’t really fly. Food burned and stuck to package. Last couple times it seems to keep getting worse and worse ! Very sad and disappointing. Really enjoyed ordering from this place but the quality has definitely gone downhill. It’s too bad. A year ago I would’ve gave five stars. Always been very happy.
Don’t be fooled by the location, Country Perk is a place that offers a great selection of food with lots flavour. Our go to place in the area for Goat Roti, Curry Pad Thai and Fried Tofu. Servings are large and priced right. Food is made fresh to order so order well in advance, especially during their peak times - Friday and Saturday’s.
Delicious fresh food. We had the mango salad, beef in oyster sauce and chicken eggplant all dishes were flavourful, fresh and generous portions. I highly recommend you check out this little gem of a restaurant.
Definitely will not go to this restaurant again, been getting food here for while now, the service today was terrible. Gave us what we didn't ask for and than charged us for it on top of what we wanted.. Definitely lost a customer.
The food here is fantastic. Everything from the rotis, Thai and wings. They know how to make proper saucy wings and the Monday/Tuesday wing special price can't be beaten! Highly recommend!
An eclectic mix of Canadian, Thai, Malaysian, and Caribbean dishes. Lots of vegetarian options. Big portions full of flavour. Prices are excellent and made even better by the lunch and dinner specials. The staff are warm and very accommodating, they were happy to put on a hockey game for us. I recommend the curry pad Thai or green curry. I have not had a dish here that I didn't like.
The food use To be outstanding, but unfortunately the last few times have been degraded. The meat portions have been cut down by more than half of what it use to be. If you like peppers rather than meat order away. The quality has gone down the tubes. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU LIKE MEAT IN YOUR ORDER, CAUSE THEY DON’T INCLUDE IT IN MEALS ANYMORE!!!!!!!! JUST SHREDDED SCRAPS OF MEAT AS FILLERS. Very disappointed have been ordering for the last 5 years and it’s gone down the tubes as for quality and all. So sad!!!!!
Always great food every single time. The wing deal is amazing and they are spectacular. The chicken avocado dish is to die for. Keep up the good work, Perks!
Original: I've only been here once but friends of mine have been several times and have always recommended it. I had the chicken roti smothered mild spice. And that was both humongous and delicious. The spice level was enough for me. Flavorful without erasing my taste buds. Another at our table had it spicy and he was sweating. I also tasted the pad Thai that my friends got and it was different from other places. Had this tamarind sweet ish flavor to it but still delicious. I only finished half my meal at lunch time but I have to come back to try their other stuff. They have a huge menu. Edit: second time had the pad Thai. It's delicious and super filling. Once again I only got through half of it. Other orders in the group: The Thai chili chicken which looked and tasted great. The fried rice, looked dry and tasted peppery.
