The self checkout machines weren't working and I stood there for a good 5 minutes before a cashier came up and helped the guy who's machine broke after mine was served first.
Came in yesterday, super excited to get some groceries it was payday. Saw a cart of spices in the freezer aisle that said “50% off at the till” so hey half off spices imma get some. Made my way up to the till where it was just one man on the counter. He was chatting up every woman that was in front of me taking much longer than it should be with one till open, I was patient. Got up to my stuff he didn’t even really look at me and when he scanned the spices that said “50% off at the till” they rang in as full price and I asked “hey aren’t these 50% off?” And he responded with “well that’s what they’re ringing up as” and I noticed a line of people behind me so I didn’t want the fuss. Then! He hit me with “well are you gunna take it or leave it” so I didn’t like the attitude and had to take them off cause I wasn’t going to pay full price for what was labelled as 50% off.
