Country Carriage Restaurant

A very nice family owned restaurant. Friendly and attentive staff. Excellent quality food, especially the country carriage bacon 🍔 burger! And great daily breakfast and daily specials.

I just moved to the city. I saw this restaurant online and actually saw it one day when I got a little lost. We went there soon after. It was very disability friendly. It was pretty clean (could use a little work). The staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered fish and chips. They were really good, crispy and lightly breaded. It came with soup or salad. I didn't like the kind of soup they had that day (I believe they have a different soup everyday) so got cole slaw. Tasted a lot like the slaw I make, so I thought it was good. My friend ordered a Monte Cristo sandwich. It came with fries and soup or salad. She chose the salad which was very fresh. Although she said the sandwich was good it was more like a grilled ham and cheese sandwich since it wasn't dipped in the batter and fried as is typical. Then we split a strawberry shortcake. It was generous, very good and we finished it all! Prices were reasonable. I know I will probably go there often since it is so close to my new house (I could see it from the booth I was sitting in). They also have a drive thru which will be very convenient. I shall return!
