Country Cakes made my 70th Birthday cake in March. The cake was a Red Velvet and absolutely perfect. Will definitely use again. My visitors from all over Victoria remarked how great the cake was for taste and decoration.

Country Cakes used to bake what I thought was the best Lemon Sour cake I've tasted in Bendigo. However, since the changeover in management, the taste of the cake has changed considerably with a price increase, and not for the better. I do hope that the old recipe will be revived.

Even during COVID19 the staff provided great service and delicious cake. When I telephoned to ordered the cake the day before it was needed, they we clearly busy in the store, but politely and efficiently took my ordered. They showed experience in taking time to make suggestions with flavours and decorations. We ordered a Red Velvet cake and it was delicious - moist, flavoursome and definitely freshly baked. Service at pickup was friendly, compliant with restrictions and hassle-free. Loved every bite!

Their pies were delicious and their cakes look and taste amazing. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Great service, good range of cakes, pies and sandwiches as well. Can pre-order for pick up. Sausage rolls are delicious, as are the pies.
