We come here to buy cakes and bread. The red velvet, and the chocolate bomb are very delicious. My kid loves them. I like their sourdoughs. The staff are friendly and patient. We would like to come here again to taste more delicate food.

Bakery items are 5/5! Breakfast menu is about a 3/5 good, but not their strength.nPartial service - order at the counter and find a seat if dining it. Someone will run the food and drinks to your table. Baked goods are where they really shines - so many delicious items. I’d come back for lattes and baked goods on the regular.

Cottage bakery is located on Pembina Highway in Fort Gary. It is an absolutely great place to stop by for lunch or a quick snack. They offer many things, including poutine, fries, burgers, but they specialize in sweets and pastries, including cookies – oatmeal, chocolate chip as well as lemon cake, apple strudel, croissants, and many other pastries. Very high-quality bakery overall. There is seating inside for about 20 as well as an outdoor patio. There is free parking outside and the staff is very friendly. Overall, I highly recommend.

I almost never give 5 stars but it's deserved. I tried the eggs Benedict breakfast, and while the cheese scone instead of the crumpet was something new for me, it was a perfect fit for the balance of perfectly cooked eggs and the fresh creamy sauce. The roasted potatoes were seasoned perfectly and cooked just right. The dark roast coffee was hot and fresh.nnI came back a couple of days later for the apple jack and a pear tart, which I enjoyed with my friend. I also bought some croissants to take home.nnHow nice to see that the apple crumble pie is still on the menu - it was my mum in laws favourite.nnCongratulations on 80 years in business. Your friendly hardworking staff deserve recognition.

I'm in Winnipeg for work and I'm thrilled to have discovered a charming local bakery just outside my hotel. The pastries are delightfully fresh, and the warm cinnamon bun pairs perfectly with a hot latte. The atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious, embodying the essence of a true neighborhood bakery and café.
