Went for a light dinner, checking the place out for a visiting relative with celiacs. On the whole it was pretty good. Had burgers and chicken fingers and their chocolate cake for dessert. The buns were very good, I have no problem with gluten but usually can tell the difference when I have gluten free foods. These buns were great. The breading on the chicken was delicious, crunchy and tasty. The cake was a bit heavy in texture, but still rich and chocolaty,. Saw a pizza on our way out and it looked pretty good too. On the whole, I found it a bit expensive since I don't need to avoid gluten, but for someone who needs to avoid it this is a great place. I would cheerfully go with someone who needs it and look forward to taking our visitors there.

I came here yesterday to pick up some vegan and gluten free treats for my boss, who follows a strict vegan and gluten free diet. I was helped by a lovely gal who helped me pick some things out and assured me everything I was getting was both vegan and gluten free. I was also reassured by a large sign on the wall behind the counter that said “all baking is vegan and gluten free.” BIG FAT LIE! The moment my boss took a bite of one of the cookies he knew it wasn’t vegan. I quickly called the shop to see if this was true and was told almost everything I bought except one cookie was NOT vegan. I am thoroughly unimpressed. My boss could have gotten quite sick from eating the treats from here. This was a great big waste of $20. I don’t think I’ll ever be coming back to cocoabeans.

Love this place! Fantastic vegan food, I had the banana chocolate chip pancakes and they were amazing! Wonderful staff and all kinds of delicious baked goods! They make this earl grey icing that is unbelievably delicious!

1st time: Staff was not to helpful when ordering Vegan options, seemed rude, no free coffee refills is the big one, no table touches either. 2nd time: Ordered ALL Vegan take out and it was all meat and wrong fries. Food is good though.

Awesome place! I’ve recently gone gluten-free because of a sensitivity, and this place was like heaven. If I ever crave sweets or want a loaf of bread, this is where I’ll be going to get it. Yummy!!
