Ran through the Long Beach McDonald's on PCB around 5;30pm on 12/13/22. The drive thru was moving slowly, and when I paid I saw that there was only one person working both windows and nobody else in sight. Her name is Ginger and she was doing a GREAT job of managing the whole line alone. Even though she was stressed, she was friendly, upbeat, polite, and my order was accurate. Give that woman a raise!
Calhoun County, Blountstown, FL Employee shoved 5 large hot mochas in a 4 cup drink holder through the window. They spilled, scalded my dad, ruined his brand new truck. Hot chocolate mochas all over the steering wheel, door, speaker, door pockets, floorboard, personal items & smells horrible. Employee was high on something because she was about a sleep & spaced out & walked off like nothing happened, yelled for manager & another employee was sent out, so again asked for manager who finally come out who offered a towel, was rude & said she was the highest. After explaining to her we wanted the damage cleaned & she said sorry, but we don't do that & I insisted she give us a name & number of someone over her. She gave us a false name & number. Totally disgusted with this store. Their hot coffee machines are always down, their frozen drink machine is always broken, they park you & the wait is ridiculous, they don't tell you the machines are down at the ordering window, but then after you pay you go to the 2nd window & have the wrong drinks fixed & it's either drink those or wait forever for a refund. It's so disappointing & discouraging. So many unhappy customers!.
Went to two different stores owned by the Costa's, Mossy Head and Defuniak Springs, withing a week, and neither store could make frappes all of a sudden AFTER I had already ordered them. Received my money back both times, but ridiculous that this is becoming the new our shake machine is broken at all McDonald's.
While the food is always hot and delicious, it may not be what you ordered. They constantly sell me strawberry pies and when I get to the checkout window they try to put apple in my bags, give me the wrong size drink or the wrong flavor from what I ordered, and a couple times I got a burger when I ordered a fish sandwich. I put it on lack of management and training. It's just annoying to get your order, start driving off then have to go back in the store and have some kid look at you like you're trying to beat them out of something. This is Niceville and Bluewater Bay.
The I-10 Crestview location needs reform. I constantly pull up to the drive-thru and get no service at all. Went inside after getting tired of waiting at the drive-thru speaker, and no one would walk up to the register. Not sure what the problem is, but something needs to change there.
Have had a ton of issues at the one in North Crestview. Ordered a sweet tea the other day and requested just a little unsweetened to tone it down a bit. It was wrong as usual once I got to the pick up window because they never relay the special request correctly. The lady asked for me to return the cup which I thought was against health regulations and then she proceeded to pour it back into the container. I tried to contact customer service and keep getting silence. I decided to try a different mcdonalds today and to go inside because maybe the order would be correct if I give it to the one making it myself. Not only did I have to wait 20 min on the tea it still wasn't right.
Went to the McDonald's in Blue water on Sunday evening and was not very impressed. I had a mobile order and ordered a smoothie and mcflurry.. I went to the 1st window and picked up my receipt then went to the 2nd window and sat there for over a minute watching the manager mop the floor. He did not notice me until I backed up a little bit and started to go to the 1st window and he noticeed me and stopped mopping put the mop down and went to make the smoothie and mcflurry without washing his hands or putting gloves on. That is so unprofessional for a manager.
My experience at the 23rd street McDonald's has Always been 5 stars recently- in the mornings and/or afternoons in the work week. New management makes 100% difference.
I appreciate Costa policy in requiring their co-workers to wear mask to protect each other and their customers. The fact that you also provided a safety barrier for the drive up window is appreciated. Thank you!! I am still amazed at the lax of some of your workers not wearing masks though, and they may need to be reminded of your policy. On 24 Oct 2020, @0515 I had visited your Blue water bay McDonalds' drive through, and had to cancel my order when the casher was not wearing a mask. Though I was wearing mask, it did not seem to clue her in to put on her mask. I told her to cancel my order, and drove on to your Niceville McDonalds' near the high school. From now on I will use only the Niceville McDonalds near the high school, they seem to be more consistent at adhering to your policy of wearing masks. I had just found out the day before that 4 of my co-workers who do not wear masks around each other have come down with covid19, fortunately I & my other workers who always wears masks did not get the contagion. MASK actually do work!! Please continue to encourage your employees to wear mask for their health and to protect your business from losing customers.
Waited in line for 40 minutes. Checked McDonald's website says they serve breakfast until 11 on Saturdays. Finally get to the window to order and they said they quit selling breakfast at 10:30. Poor management: if they knew it was Spring break Saturday and opening day of little league why would they not staff up? If I'm in line before the shutdown time And your management is poor you should take care of the customer!
