This place has the most delicious pralines and cream ice cream I’ve had this summer. Also, we stopped by for fish and chips at lunch time and the outdoor space was perfect. Highly recommend.
Could not be more happier with the food and friendly atmosphere. Fish tasted fresh and the herbs and spices used complemented it amazingly adding to wonderful flavours. You could tell the coleslaw was made fresh that day. Even the X-Hot sauce that they made was delightfully spicey with great flavour.
Visited Bayfield this weekend and ate here for the first time. Staff were super friendly, service was quick and the food was amazing! I had the chipotle chicken tacos which are an amazing summer dish, and their fries are perfectly crispy om the outside and soft on the inside. Went back the next day for an ice cream cone and ordered a small and girl who made it hooked me up! I was surprised that a small would be that big! Delicious, and I highly recommend :
By far my favorite place in ontario to order shrimp tacos & pulled pork poutine! Everything is handmade & it tastes amazing. Staff is super friendly & food is made fast. The front is an ice cream place but just go to the side & BAM you found this hidden gem! They also seem to be consistent with no mistakes. I've probably visited well over a dozen times just this year lol!
Amazing shrimp tacos, breakfast poutines, and even ice-cream! I live in Toronto and despite the plentiful taco options in the city, Copenhagen's is still my favourite taco place. You truly can't go wrong with ordering any menu item. The most lovely and pleasant people work here, so it's definitely worth a try and repeat visits. You won't be disappointed!
I purchased the pickerel fish tacos, and for the price $5 each I expected a decent portion of fish. It was basically just lettuce, pico, and sauce, with a nugget of fish on each. The price is already inflated being in a tourist area, and I was very disappointed in the tiny portion. The fish is what you’re paying for, not the fillers. I’d like to say I’d go back but I don’t know that it’s worth the money.
Great frozen yogurt, tacos are amazing and nice seating area. Thanks for the water and dog cones for our dogs. Can't wait to visit each summer. :
If you look for classic fish and chips, this is not the place. Got couple of kinds of FnC here, both had some sort of thin layer of reddish crust on them, not tasting that good... Sauce was no tartar either, some pinkish mayo with non specific taste. Falafel was good though. Definitely not coming back here for FnC...
Great food! Nice little patio out back. Our group had the fries, poutine, chili cheese dog and fish tacos. All great food!
We stopped in Bayfield on our way back from Goderich. We walked the area and saw this restaurant and our first thought was that it would be great food. There was a decent lineup and a good amount of people sitting to eat. Staff was friendly enough, with a lot of food options that looked promising. We ordered chicken tacos, fish tacos, poutine and two hotdogs. When we recieved the food the first thing that we noticed was that our tacos, mainly the soft shells were ice cold. Nearly frozen to be honest. Bottom of the box was also filled with water, I am guessing from the slaw. The gravy on the fries was below par and the cheese wasn't even close to a melted state. Again, we had high hopes for this food stop. In the end it was a huge waste of about $55. We nearly threw everything out and moved on. A lot of good reviews for this place, I am not sure what happened. Though after looking I did see other reviews complaining about the same ice cold tacos. I would suggest a review of the preparation in making these tacos.
