Great place to hit the trails on foot or MTB. Lots of MTB trails to ride and varying degrees of difficulty. Take the long uphill ride from the bottom parking to the top near Horseshoe / and have a great bomb back down. Great place to run your dog if you have a 4 legged pal! Weekdays are less busy and weekends can be busy - horses and all.
So beautiful and recommend it for hiking during Fall. Free entry and free parking from Ingram road.
Absolutely perfect. I would return every single day if I lived in the area. Thankfully this forest has much to offer and will be returning very soon. Entering for all access points are absolutely beautiful and perfect to navigate!nHorses, bikes, and people have all be able to access these trails.
Great forest! A lot of twists and turns and trails to keep you occupied all year long. Depending on which parking lot you choose, you are faces with new trails and challenges. Note that some of these trails actually end up merging with the Horseshoe Valley hiking/biking trails.
Beautifully secluded forest, perfect for winter hiking/snowshoeing. The landscapes are fascinating with vast lands of just snow and trees.nParking is limited only 10 or so , wish it was bigger and wish the access roads have proper winter maintenance. One of our cars got stuck in ice right in the parking lot.
