Story

By custom tuning a truck you are given the ability to modify countless parameters to the engine and transmission operation that your manufacture produced the stock tunes you started with. The number one reason customers choose to tune their trucks is fuel economy. Just by changing the rate of the burn inside the combustion chamber and removing EGR gases from the burn we can extract more energy out of the fuel that was otherwise not possible. By extracting more energy out of the fuel we get increased fuel mileage as less fuel is required and an increase of power. Another huge benefit is being able to remove the emission controls on a truck. If you have a 2008+ Duramax you know how much of a hassle the DPF/SCR system can be. The 2011+ LML system are even worse; it’s so bad that we are currently working with a few GM dealers to fix these problems for their customers. Not only can you safety remove the system to save the headache, but you can get increased fuel economy by allowing the engine to breath better. We know others will make specific claims about an increase in fuel economy, but without knowing how you drive, the condition of the truck beforehand, It’s irresponsible to make such claims to get your business and then have you disappointed when the tuner cannot deliver. We do tell our customers that our tuning will yield you an increase in fuel mileage anywhere from 2-5mpg depending on your truck. We have specific customer test these situations which back that claim as shown in the reviews below.

Coopers (Formally Xtreme FX Tuning) started in 2009 with the purchase of a Duramax. While sitting on the forums and researching performance upgrades we came across EFI Live Tuning. From there everything fell into place and shortly after we started racing the truck all the while developing our own tunes both for speed and reliability. From there we started building tunes and offering EFILive support for our customers. It started out small but as the word of mouth spread we have grown quickly. Now 5 years later we have created tunes that have been proven reliable, and have had people leaving with a smile on their face knowing that their truck is running the best it possibly can. Currently we offer tuning support to any of the Duramax’s as well as the 06 – 09 Cummins. We also hope to expand our tuning services to other vehicles and tuning platforms in the near future.

Coopers custom Solutions is a growing company with Adrienne and Mitch Cooper being founders. Mitch Cooper is a mechanical engineer with internal combustion engine courses under his belt while Mrs Adrienne Cooper is a journeyman automotive technician. They both spend their days around diesel trucks. Mitch own's a 07 LBZ and Adrienne has a 04 LB7.
