Coon Rapids Middle School

As a former student who now goes to Wayzata High School, 6th grade for me, it was a nice start to a new chapter in my school life with some amazing teachers like Ms.Bessler (SHE IS THE BEST TEACHER OUT OF ALL), 7th grade, it was also ok, but 8th GRADE, THAT WENT DOWNHILL FAST. In September 2015, i had a bike accident that left my face in stitches for half a week, then when I returned to school, things were ok, but in November of that year, i got my first smartphone, which was an Android, while ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE HAD AN iPHONE. That probably contributed to my failure in that school, but in early 2016, leading up to my FINAL DAY in Coon Rapids, I had the worst of it all. I got in trouble with my Associate Principal, and got into DETENTION about 2 times. NOT FUN. But once we found our perfect house, Wayzata HS was a thing i COULD NOT STOP TALKING ABOUT. But that was 2 years ago. One thing that i cannot process is why did they build a new cafeteria? I knew why, but couldn't they have just used it to UPGRADE THE EXISTING SCHOOL? And, i like how they are so involved with technology, but CHROMEBOOKS? Couldn't the Middle School and CRHS just give every student an iPad to keep??? Like, that's what Wayzata does for EVERY PERSON IN THE FREAKING DISTRICT!!! I know that this review has gotten LONG, and must be a pain to keep reading, but let me end on one word: GO TROJANS!!! :D And now, whenever anyone on my snapchat asks why did you leave? i just say my story, then they're like: "Bro, i'm so sorry" or "I know this was happening, I should've stepped in sooner". But its too late..

Some ppls here are PERVERTED... I know some pppl that have gotten sexually assulted by some kid...not gonna call names other than that some of the staff are really nice... It just depends if you are a good student or not. If you want teachers to like you, listen, study, talk to them, and have good grades. Even if you don't have good grades, just be nice and listen to the teachers.

Well the school is ok . The teachers are nice but some of them are NOT . Some of them are racist too. Some teachers give you tests without fully explaining one random part in the test?!

I LOVE IT staff are really nice!! Why do you rate it bad? The teachers really teach. Do you know how many kids want to get in this school but there's no space? That's how good we are!!

School appearance isn't that bad overall, locker rooms need to be redone though. Some staff need to go, *cough* MR KUNTZ *cough* There is also quite a bit of sexism that happens in gym class, by both the teachers and the students. On the subject of gym, I feel that sportsmanship should be taught too, seeming that most students can't figure out that you don't always need to win and you can't yell at someone just because they are not as good as you. I love how involved CRMS is with technology, it really benefits classes and the school overall. However, do not try to be "with the trends" and talk about dabbing, please no. Solid four stars for Coon Rapids Middle School, it's just my first year so more fun awaits... I guess
