Great place to stay and central to both Watkins Glen and Ithaca. House is extremely cool in architecture and history. The waterfall a 100 yards com the house only adds to the charm. The host Chris is really great in how he keeps the house and his knowledge of the area. We used this as our base for hiking in the area and would definitely go back again

My husband and I wanted to explore Watkins Glen on our first Anniversary. We couldn't have made a better decision than to stay at The Cook Mansion. Kris was the best host we've ever had. He was helpful in giving restaurant ideas as well as fun local activities. We felt right at home. The surrounding views were amazing with a waterfall within walking distance and a small pond that made you feel like you stepped back in time. Breakfast was always filling, with lots of options to choose from and the room we stayed in was comfortable, clean, and cozy. We would, and have already, recommended this bed and breakfast to anyone looking to get-away for the weekend.

I must say we have never been to a B&B my husband and I just got home yesterday and already cannot wait to book again! Such a beautiful place so clean and comfortable and spacious even the bathroom was huge. Kris was amazing from the minute he checked us in till the minute he checked us out and gave us advise about where to have dinner and about the town. The breakfast was great too. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Great expirence looking forward ti coming back again.

This was our first time at a B&B and we can't wait to come back here!!! Kris is such a nice guy. He is here if you need him and always asking if we need anything. The house is gorgeous. The balcony is awesome. The grounds are beautiful. Definitely coming back here.

Nice place to stay. Beautiful old building. Kris was a great inn keeper. We were in Rainbow Falls room. Goofy layout wrt shower and toilet. All other rooms looked fantastic and would pick one of them for our next stay. Breakfast was a 4/5 as well.
