Update: i have to dock some stars cause I feel I got screwed… i paid for a price freeze and there was fine print regarding renewing each year. I figured renewal was automatic and didn’t realize that I had gone over the date by a few days… i was sick and had to stay home. They said they’d look into it and do their best to honour the price i had paid to freeze but they never got back to me. Even after i left numerous messages.nnI love this gym in the early mornings.nThey’ve gotten better with fixing machines that need repair quickly. The employees are professional, welcoming and helpful.nFinally, I appreciate the cleanliness of the gym and the washrooms.

After going to this gym daily for nearly a year I can say it is constantly getting worse. Very little cleaning done here, people sit on machines for upwards of 20 minutes without using them and when you ask to use the machine it is always an altercation like they think that they have some ownership of the machine because they used it and never stood up. Also there are people constantly slamming weights and breaking machines because they are ego lifting. These are are all regulations stated on econofitness website that aren't being followed by customers or enforced by staff. This place needs a serious tune up in regards to rule enforcing and cleanliness. Also a better maintenance schedule for the machines. Some of these thing make ungodly noises and aren't even adjusted properly to be used. With a little work this could be a great gym but for now it's getting 2 stars. If you must go to an econofitness I recommend the one on sherbrooke or the one in laval. Much better all around.
