Used to be a member there. Loved it. For the price well worth it. Employees were always nice and helpful and the other members were pretty cool too. Not a single bad thing to say about this gym.

If econofitness could get people to respect the rules it would be perfect. Mandatory towel, put ur bag in a locker, dont use more than one machine at a time and put the damn weights back on the rack!

It is a lot better than you can expect with that price. I saw lots of gyms which cost much more with much less quality. Everything is enough - cardio machines, dumbells, benches, and space, and quality of equipments is good. You might say that the locker room is small, but you are paying small. And, usually gyms do not put much space on locker room. Only thing required here is more notices and guides to clients, to make them to return the weights after using, not to just drop the weights from the air, not to occupy an equipment for too long time.

They changed some machines that were confortable to sit on. Now they have rock hard benches that give little to no support

It's alright, I'm new to Montréal and it's the only real gym closeby. It's not super AAA stuff like premium gyms, as you guessed it it's more of an economic gym. Staff is great, they seem happy to work there and they chill around the place you can talk to them easily. I would recommend that place to any bodybuilder for sure, if you're more the kind of seasonal vegan flat tummy tea gym girl it's probably not fancy enough for you tho..
