I have worked with many nanny agencies while living in Connecticut and California. Gary James and his agency, Connecticut Domestics was the most professional and organized placement agency I have worked with in eight years. Gary's recommendations have been flawless, along with his style of management. He served as a fantastic reference for the nannies he placed with us. I have known him for the last three years. For five years before that, I had the very unfortunate experience of working with many agencies, whose only goal was making money. The best two employees that have ever worked with us, were placed by Connecticut Domestics. Gary takes time listening to the needs of the parents and their concerns for what they feel is best for their child. He deeply cares about what he does. This experience was unique in my many dealings with various angencies. Because he, himself loves children, and knows the importance of the right fit for both the child and the family, he carefully selects the candidates one interviews. The use of video interviews cuts down the long process that can so often be a waste of precious time for working parents. It enables the family to see and listen to a potential nanny, without having to spend hours interviewing, when one knows from the first 5 minutes whether it is a potential fit. Gary has been available for questions, and advice, even once a nanny has been placed, and the fact that his heart is in what he does, shows by the care he gives his clients, and the success of the nannies he places.
