We always make time for an ice cream cone at Cones when we're in White Rock! He is so friendly, love the singing while he works. And the ice cream is absolutely the best on the beach! My favorites are the Baileys or the Earl Grey Tea ice cream. My kids love the Skittles 7up cone. Make sure you bring cash as it's all he accepts and prepare yourself for return visits ;
THE BEST ICE CREAM ON THE BEACH. Not only is the hand made ice cream the most delicious you will ever taste, but the owner who serves every customer serenades you as he makes your cone : I will never go anywhere else. Try the birthday cake flavour, you won’t regret it ;
I am not a huge ice cream person, but after two and a half year of living at the beach. I finally went into Cones. I was often drawn to Sam's singing, just not enough to go in and get a cone. Today I did. Sam is every bit as lovely as his voice. The ice cream was awesome. Salted caramel, and Sam suggested a little chocolate on top. It was delightful. While I don't eat it often, I do know quality. This was quality ice cream.
Classic, North American style ice cream. You will get what you came for and leave with a smile on your face. Thank you for serving appropriate portion sizes and including the allergy warnings!
The earl grey tea ice cream is so delicious and creamy! The man inside was singing and he seemed to really enjoy his job!
It's been 4 yrs since my last review of Cones. I went to Cones last night and had salted caramel again with Earl Grey and honey I waited over 2 years for Earl Grey. The salted caramel IS INSANE!!! So worth the $$ and the special trip to White Rock for dessert. In all honesty, I don't like sweet desserts, but Cones' ice cream has a perfect level of sweetness that is not overwhelming and the flavours just shine. Sam is definitely a master ice-creamer!! My original post 4yrs ago was: Salted Caramel and Baileys was AMAZING!!! And I've never seen a more loaded Cookies and Cream. Rootbeer float was so good as well. Yum!! Stopping at Cones Creamery is a MUST if you're visiting White Rock. Sam, the owner, is super funny and his voice is so sweet as he sings while he works. Love it!!
The best ice cream in white rock hands down! Handmade in shop by the shops sweetheart of an owner who not only makes incredible ice cream, but sings happily while he works/serves your cone. We love coming here with the family to grab a cone and go for a walk on the boardwalk our daughter loves his singing almost as much as she loves the ice cream
I noticed that Cones makes their own ice-cream on the premises. I ordered the salted caramel and all I have to say is WOW!!!! The smoothest and most delicious ice cream I have ever tasted.. Will definitely be back. Love the owner, who loves his work and is developing a singing voice while he is scooping ice cream. You don't see that every day!!!
Such a happy chirpy guy, loved listening to him singing along with the song, his ice cream varieties are all so good, he knows his customer’s regular choice, he checks with mum first to make sure the kid’s choices are good, we’ve been going to him for the last 2 years. Looking forward to going again, my youngest said he’s going to ask for a different flavor next time and see if he still remembers us, when you’re in White Rock next time, give his ice cream a go, you’ll love it
Oh man, this place is so darn good!!! Some of the best chocolate ice cream I’ve had, EVER. Had the baileys ice cream as well, and sampled a few others. All of them, so SO good! The guy who runs the shop is super friends too, we had a great time chatting with him. The place doesn’t look like much, but it would be a mistake to miss out on this gem!!
