What a fantastic pool! Three great pools. The middle pool has a soft bottom so no scrapes from rough concrete. Unfortunately though the open play area is not very deep. The deeper pools are reserved for the high dives and lengths. Still a relaxing place to cool down. Lockers are also free which was awesome and also the first time I’ve ever seen that. The metro also conveniently stops right next to the pool.
Huge facility with several pools, including eight lanes for lap swimming in the main pool. Large changerooms, clean, with shower and changing cubicles and free, code-operated lockers instructions only in French. The water temperature in the lane pool was quite chilly - but that’s better than being too warm. There's a big clock that even short-sighted I can see from the pool. Admission is sold in blocks of time, such as 9:30 to 11:00 am and 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. You’re given a wristband to show proof of payment. The facility is easy to reach on the Yellow Metro line to Jean-Drapeau station.
Great place to swim at. Very quiet, no music no noise. Its good especially for families with kids/babies because its not too deep. The pool is heated a bit which makes it very to swim. No place nearbuy or on site to buy food from. So bring your picnic with you. You have to buy your tickets online for the time slot and day you want before heading to the pool because its usually full few days in advance. *Note: The parking around is 15$/day .
Super nice swimming pool in the iconic Jean Drapeau park! This aquatic complex is located on Ile Ste-Helene, now Jean Drapeau park, next to the iconic Biosphere. It offers 3 pools: the main pool is divided into lane swim and leisure pool, there is deep diving pool with what I think the Olympic sized diving platform, and another pool that looks like a training pool with a few lanes. On the day we went only the main pool was open to the public. This public pool is offering a family day pass of only $17 2 adults and 2 children, taxes included! Single adult day pass is only $4.25. The facility offers shower and locker with digital lock, all free of charge, better than so many public pools that we’ve been to. The main pool is heated to 27 degrees Celsius, so very comfortable even for small children. The water was super clean, you can find many floating toys around the main pool, also free of charge. We spent 2 hours in this pool on Labor Day weekend, and it wasn’t busy at all, many chairs were empty, there were some adults sun tanning on the pool deck. Parking was a little bit of hassle, P9 was full but luckily we found one last spot in P10, $7 for one hour for a maximum of $20 per day. Highly recommend!
Great place to cool down for $6.50. Water is warm, there is a shallow pool that is divided for kids/wading, lane swimming and general swim. Adjacent pool has diving boards and platforms. Lots of space for resting/tanning. Lots of lifeguards. Washrooms are clean for outdoor pool standards. Lots if parks/greenery outside the pool enclosure. Accessible by metro.
Love this place. Only issue is that some parents neglect to put diapers on toddlers who end up dropping a job in the pool causing a 1-hour closure. Similarly, some allow children to fill their bellies before going into the pool, and shortly thereafter the child vomits, and the pool closes again. Easy issues to resolve!
Had so much fun in this place, what a marvellous experience spending adequate time with friends and family. Wonderful teddy bear party with lots and lots of ballon popping games by a great team.
Very nice complexe of swimming pools for either competition swimming, competition diving or just leisure. Located in a park, it is surrounded by trees. Very easily accessible by the subway at the Parc Jean Drapeau station on the yellow line. The leisure pool with it's progressive incline is very easily accessible to the very young and the very old.
First time we bought tickets and got the receipt in email but never received the e-tickets...customer service email is invalid. Impossible to reach. The second time, we went there on a gloomy Monday to avoid the crowds but turned out only one pool open, with 4 lanes out of 8 closed. Only 1 slow, 1 medium and 2 fast lanes. So it was still crowded : Congratulations the changing rooms with lockers and showers are closed too! We swam in the slow lane and someone said F word to us because we were slower than him?!!but it’s the slow lane?!! Water is a bit dirty but understandable. Overall disappointed : Same price for very little facilities available on weekdays.
We love this pool, very good for kids and adults, very clean and warm! A good place for families!
