Story

Community Memorial Hospital opened on July 27, 1958, as a 26-bed regional hospital. In 2004, CMH completed a $15 million building project, the largest renovation project since the hospital was built, and we continue to update our technology and improve our services. In 2008, CMH celebrated 50 years of service to our community. CMH currently employs 400 people and directly and indirectly contributes over $40 million to the regional economy.

I moved to the area over 30 years ago and have always had excellent care here. Gave birth to two children here. Very well treated.

I've been using CMH for all medical needs and procedures since 1978 and have absolutely no major complaints at all. I've always been satisfied with the treatment I've received there. My youngest child and 3 grandchildren have all been born there too. Staff has always been friendly, courteous, helpful and capable. Wait times can be long in the ER but certainly no longer than in Duluth.

Waited literally almost two hours for my doctor to come into the room, checked my lungs fors under 3 minutes then told me he'd get me a prescription. Didn't diagnose me, left me waiting cold and coughing up a lung in that room, even after that bullshit, he takes 15 minutes to print the prescription. They are really making sure you spend at leaat 2 hours there so they get more from thr insurence.
