Commercial-Broadway Station

Commercial Broadway SkyTrain station was top notch. The trains are punctual, the station is spotless, and accessibility is well managed. The staff's friendly assistance adds to the overall excellent service. The SkyTrain makes commuting a pleasure and is highly recommended for anyone navigating the city.

This is a major station and can be extremely busy during rush hour. It's a major connection with 99-Bline and #9 busses. Situated on the corner of Commercial Drive and East Broadway, this station is 2 levels with the ExpoLline on the main level, crossing Broadway overhead and has access on either side of Broadway. On the lower level is access to the Millennium Line.nnThere's convenient access to major retailers Safeway and Shoppers Drug Mart, both being connected to the station on the ground levelnnI would give this station a higher rating but the lack of escalators on the north side for both lines is a massive pet peeve. ONE up escalator for Expo line trains no down escalator and one inadequately narrow stairway. Same for the Millennium Line. You have so many passengers departing the trains that they hit the stairway en masse and take the entire thing so there's no way for people to go down the stairs untill the trainload has subsided. It's incredibly annoying.

A once beautiful vibrant neighborhood corner destroyed by the introduction of this skytrain. An ecological and sociological disaster that has turned this corner into early East Hastings meets post modern capitalist apocalypse.

Commercial-Broadway is a major interchange station for the Expo and Millennium lines, as well as connections for the 99 B-Line and the bus I used frequently, 20 Victoria. Upon my visits to Vancouver over the past few years, I've seen how it has integrated another platform seamlessly.

Easy to navigatenTrain on time a bit of cleaning and maintenance here and there but in general, it's a great commute
