Let's start with the positive things. It was a convenient stopping point since my familywas driving 22 hours to get home frlm vacation and we had to stop due to road conditions. That's all that was good about it and we stayed for 1 night. The front desk worker with the blue hair was really kind though. Get them a better job! As soon as we walked into the room, it was scorching hot and humid. The ride up to our room had an elevator with several pieces of gum stuck to it and the door wouldn't close for a good amount of time. The couch felt like wood blocks with fabric just set on top and the armrests were sharp. We ordered food in and ate before trying to go to bed. The light in the bathroom burnt out and the hot and cold were switched. Our faucet sprayed sideways aswell. I was going to sleep on the couch but it was simply stained and disgusting. I didn't feel safe staying in this hotel. There was a stain of what looked like blood on the side of the corner chair, the lamp shades were torn, the fireplace didn't work, and the TV was cracked through the middle. We ended up being able to somewhat sleep when sharing two queen beds amongst the four of us. The next morning we got up around 7:00 a.m to go down to breakfast and leave. Breakfast had just started so there was NO reason for the waffle iron to look like it had never been cleaned since it's first use. I kid you not, it looked like someone tried packing a bunch of cinnamon half way up the iron and left it. It was just burnt waffle remnants built up for who knows how long. I will not be staying here again.
Warsaw is Not a good place for a good place to find a hotel room they're are clearly Way too much for the room's are clearly older than the hills and they tax you too much for the simplest thing's here go elsewhere for a good place to rest for the night.nThe bed's are Old enough that the spring's are popping out of the mattresses. The pillows smelled like Curry.
I would give zero stars if I could. Recently my wife and I checked in for a Friday-Sunday stay. While check-in was fine, we woke up on Saturday with two bed bug bites each. We immediately spoke with the front desk staff, Victor, who apologized and informed us they had a bed bug issue six months ago looking at reviews, you can see they’ve had bed bug issues on and off for years now. We checked out early and went about the various safety precautions: we threw away our luggage, bagged up our clothes in garbage bags, found a new room at a different hotel, and laundered our clothes twice before returning home. Victor told us he couldn’t give refunds but to call back and speak with the Front Desk Manager who could. We called, and the Manager informed us they wouldn’t refund the first night because we stayed, but that they refunded the second night “minus a 24-hour cancellation fee” since we didn’t give 24-hour notice how could we?, which amounted to just $46 in refunds. Our stay was almost $200. We told them this was unacceptable, especially since these were special circumstances, and he referred us to the General Manager, Katie Patel, who I had already emailed by this point with no response. He said that he was just following her orders and he couldn’t do anything else. He instructed us to wait so he could call and update her, and she would call us right back. We never heard from her. We sent another email and never heard back. Complained to corporate and opened a case file with them, but they said bed bug issues are handled at the hotel level. So, after three phone calls, a voicemail, two emails, a complaint to corporate, and speaking in person, we have not reached a resolution to this issue. Do not stay here. The service is terrible and unhelpful, the rooms are old and run down, and you might come home with bed bugs.nnEdit: I find it incredibly telling that the first interaction I have with Katie is in response to our poor review. Katie ignored my phone call, voicemail, and emails all attempted/sent before reviewing, but she can seemingly reply to a Google review. Clearly, she is more concerned with public image than customer satisfaction. I am glad other guests did not experience bites; that alone does not sufficiently prove the room/hotel is without bed bugs. Bed bugs feed every 5-7 days and may go 3-10 days without eating, so my wife and I may have just held them over for the weekend! Not to mention they’re infamously small and difficult to find—not finding a bed bug during one single inspection does not sufficiently rule out an infestation. Finally, not to mention the other previous reviews about bed bugs and Victor’s aforementioned admission they had a bed bug issue only six months prior—nor does she deny or even address these two facts!nnI am also confused by Katie’s “disappointment” over how I “characterized” her team’s response. I quite seriously just outlined the team’s actions and handling of the case and how I felt it was insufficient. If she feels my description is inherently “disappointed” or negative, maybe that’s because it is—but everything I said is simply how it played out. Like I already mentioned, Katie herself completely ignored me when her own team directed me to her multiple times. I’m not sure how my description of this could be construed as a “disappointing characterization” when it’s just reality. I think Katie highlighting how it doesn’t look great just tells on herself, frankly.
The hotel is dingy and dirty. The room smells bad, the bathroom smells bad and is dirty and has stains. The indoor pool is closed for maintenance and there is no maintenance. The only reason they closed the pool is because they don’t want to spend the money on cleaning it. The breakfast has old eggs and old sausage links. It’s just a terrible experience overall!! Stay away from this place
A bit tucked away from the road but very nice. The rooms were clean and well organized. Main reason for 4 stars is the pool area. The chairs were old and falling apart, inside chairs and outside chairs. The pool itself was clean and perfect temperature. Snacks and drinks are a bit expensive but it is nice to be able to purchase those things without leaving the motel. Beautiful place all together. Just need to upgrade the pool chairs and tables!
