What a beautiful spot right on the edge of Etobicoke. I've been walking along the water for years now and I never get tired of it. The views are incredible, especially at night when the downtown skyline is glowing bright. A great spot to take photos as well!

We really enjoy sneaking out here during the cold months to skate in the evening. It's in the shape of a Figure 8 which is kind of a cool feature. They have nice music playing from the speakers which is a really great accompaniment to your skating. CHFI radio station was playing when we were skating which is one of our favorites. The ice is pretty well kept. If you want to practice your skills I would suggest spinning at the base of the Figure 8 and not in the center where people are trying to skate that is one thing we noticed. I would say that the door rink is a little more for experienced skaters. There are no railings on the side of the Figure 8 so if you skate off of the eight you will end up in the snow bank. Overall it's a great rank it's perfect night out for couples and I believe there is a Tim Hortons nearby (not 24hrs tho).

Amazing park great for summer walks . I usually go all the way to the south west rock platform that faces port credit it's a nice view of the West side of ontario and just a walk up the nearest hill and you can get a full 360 panoramic view of your surroundings including the city of Toronto in the distance. It's a great place to have fire aswell. Have some beer and relax. It's really quite and tranquil at night

Colonel Samuel Smith Park is really nice for a walk or if you want to play on the grass, but nothing special compared to other parks in the city. Where this park is different is for the ice rink. Here you can find one of the best outdoor icerink in the city, the skating area is big and it has also a nice 8 shaped path that allows you not feel like an hempster in the wheel when skating
