Wow, what a wonderful place to be in the morning! Try to go there before sunrise on a clear day – it’s totally worth it. The amazing city view, plenty of greenery, and walking paths make it a perfect spot. It’s also easily accessible by public transportation or electric scooters.
Humber Bay Shores Park is a wonderful area to cycle, walk your dog, run or just sit and watch the water..You can see the Toronto skyline lit up in all its majesty. The trails are clearly delineated for cyclists versus those walking. All in all a very pedestrian and cycle friendly place, one where anyone else can enjoy themselves, especially with hotter temperatures, as a nice wind comes off the bay enough to put a damper on extreme heat to make it more enjoyable.
Very nice park to go for a walk and find many birds around the lake. The recent development of condo buildings transformed the area into an interesting mix of different architectural styles. Great for taking photos of the city!
Park is very cold in the winter due mostly to onshore winds coming across Lake Ontario. Dress warmly, but the wind can still feel very cutting on your face or any exposed skin. There are NO public washrooms. You can buy a coffee to warm up and use the bathroom in the local places that have public washroom.
I keep coming back to this area. The views from here are so pretty and the path connects to other parks, so you can really just continue to walk or bike/Rollerblade if you prefer for quite some time. The paths are easy to walk on and across the street you can always find a place to eat or grab a drink if you get peckish.
