I have gone twice to the school to pitch a project for the students student help marketplace. I mentioned I was an former graduate 2007 and expected a minimum of respect only to find out they are the worst kind of human being. From the reception who gave me attitude for no reason whatsoever to the General Director who couldn’t care less to return a simple call after I showed up twice in formal outfit with my business partner. At this point I regret having gone there. This place is full of ego heads and lacks humility. Sucks for Ugo because we had found a bunch of errors on his website how prideful must you be to have a website about yourself.. and was going to give him added value fixing his website for free simply to take 5 minutes to meet with us but apparently attending the college doesn’t give you an ounce of respect it seems.nnDon’t bother sending your kids here it’s not worth the money. It didn’t actually help me better myself in life until I went out in the world. I will say I am keeping my head high through this but I do feel a sense of betrayal. I would like to mention that Ugo was in fact my director in 2007.nnTheir loss honestly.
Update:nnDon't send your kids here! As one of the students, they don't care about them at all, the school's greed has corrupted the place.nnOriginal post:nnThis school's pretty good for the schools that exist in Montreal, but it still seems to have some problems with how they handle things/what happens in the school.nnSchool staff had a meeting about the recent strike and yet there continues to be irresponsibility on the part of the school. A lot of promises or things they say tend to be false, or not completely true. I would still recommend this school to be safer than in public school, but in general, it has things to work on.nnAnother thing I can say is despite the rumours that schools have almost no racism or problems is false. There is constant racism, people who fatshame, people who are deextremely full of ego. The teachers who do overhear these things don't do anything about it.nnAnd let's not talk about the constant price raise. Okay, inflation is on an all-time high, but the prices are so insane they're basically asking you to sell your house and car. I think it might be related with the corrupt values of the school, because this school is only filled with mostly spoiled rich kids and people pleasers who can't be mean in front of you and only behind your back, but there's always exceptions, and I can say I've seen some.nnI still had my fair share of good teachers and I've met a few good people, but it seems like the school has a lot of things to work on before we can say it's a good school.nn3 stars because it's better than most schools in the city, but it's still pretty bad. I hope there are changes and I hope that the school grows.nnUpdate from the top of the review: Teachers are terrible except Mme Gagnon of Sec 2, thank you so much for being an amazing teacher, school counselors tell your secrets, I hate this place more and more the longer I am forced by my parents to go here. I am miserable and I wish I never picked to go here. Please never make the mistake I did, and put your kid someplace else.
Amazing looking school. Went there to see a friend's badminton tournament all floors were clean they had a huge pull and amazing rooms
Very nice school, great programs
College situates in a very nice spot near the water and historic park. What is sad that trees in the park are in very bad conditions, they are occupied by warms who make nets around tree branches and it is obvious that such trees are dying and warms are moving to other trees killing them..Something should be done to prevent the park to loose its trees.
