Cold Brook County Park

Pretty little park! We are on our way across Michigan and down to Illinois, and just needed a place with electric to stop for the night. I called ahead to see if there were lots available in the improved section, and there were. They would leave a list of available ones posted outside the office, as we would be getting in after they closed the office. We could just leave our $24 in their drop box and we could take our pick (mid-week in mid-October). Bathrooms were clean enough. Pretty walk down by the lake in the morning before we moved on. And it's only a few miles off of I-94, so easy off and easy on. We'll stay here again.

Nice campground for family gatherings. There are wheelchair accessible sites. There are several play grounds, hiking trails, and fishing areas. This park also offers a fantastic DISC golf course.

The Park is very nice and the disc golf course is fun place. I was driving from Chicago to Detroit and decide to stop and play around of disc golf. When I got to the gate the sign said five dollars so I went to give them my credit card and they take cash only. They wouldn't let me enter the park. Step in to the new millennium and get a visa bank machine !

Stopped here on our way home to Saskatchewan from Hamilton Ontario. I was a perfect little spot to put up our tent for the night. The young lady who signed us in was fabulous. It's clean and quiet!!

There were several motar boats on this lake... The people on the lake were on the rougher side. Other than that, clean, accessible, good fishing...we had a tent campsite. One side was blocked by some trees...so we didn't really see them too much but we could hear them...The other side was wide open so not tons of privacy. We just pulled our car up to where we couldn't really see the other campers site.
